There is an endless debate between me and my French husband with regards to the spring.

Back in Latvia, we were taught that March, April, and May were spring months, but in France, spring months are considered to be April, May and June.

I don't know about you guys, but I want the spring to come earlier, so I am celebrating new beginnings as of today!

A day full of romance 🤍

The more I work, the more I realise how we are all different, and how beautiful it is.

In each person's understanding, romance means different things. For some, it is breakfast in bed in a luxury hotel, for others - cool photoshoot in a beautiful European city, for someone else it is a long hike in the mountains. This is all romance, but it is manifesting in different ways.

I wish all the couples of the world to share the vision of romance, and to live it as often as possible, no matter what it is for you 🤍

One of my favourite tables in my wedding planning years 🤍

I really love the elegance and drama it vehicles.

Black candles are supported by black plates, which in they turn are supported by black chairs. Crystal glasses bring more texture and golden silverware adds a lux feel.

It is not too much, it is not too dark, just perfectly dramatic 🖤

And if you want your photos to be as iconic, here are my 5 tips

1 - Book the right photographer. Ask for full galleries, ask to hop on a call. Never book a person just because their Instagram feed looks pretty. If you are working with a planner, she would probably do the job for you, I personally always check full galleries before referring a new photographer to a client. You should feel good when chatting with your photographer. If something inside you doesn't feel right at a call, then it is probably not the right fit for you.

2 - Have an engagement or a pre-wedding photoshoot. It allows having the first connection and first experience with your photographer. You create a bond and it will have a positive impact on your photoshoot oj the wedding day.

3 - Be yourself. Be romantic, be silly, be glam, be a diva, laugh, dance, have a drink, run, strike a pose. Getting married is a perfect ocassion for us to ask ourselves "Who am I? What do I love? What feels me? What feels right? What feels like a mask?" Ehayever is the answer, accept it, live it, be it and act it.

4 - You need to feel beautiful. Skincare, make up, tan, all of that is great and I am sure you master it, but you also need to learn to smile to yourself in the mirror. When we let our inner beauty to express itself, our eyes get lit with a brand new light.

5 - Choose your locations wisely. Your planner and photographer will always be there to help you with it. After all, photoshoot is not only about photos, it is also about the moment and experience.
