As a class, we have raised over £10,000 for 4 local charities, so a big shout out to our classmates as well for their wonderful work! 🥳

A huge thank you to our band Hipflask Ceilidh Band

Hipflask provided some amazing entertainment to Dashing Dance in the Deen on Friday night, with their variety of Ceilidh music and disco tunes, everyone was up dancing all night long! 💃🏽🕺🏻

We couldn’t have imagined a better band to play us through the night, and we’re so grateful for their performance and videos to remind us of all the fun our attendees had.

More about our charity Children's Hospices Across Scotland 🥰

💛 CHAS not only takes care of children with life-shortening conditions but also the parents and wider family.
🧡 Services provided are: Medical care, Family Support and Emotional Support. All free of charge!
❤️ Care is offered at either Rachel (Kinross) or Robin House (Balloch), and through the CHAS at Home and CHAS into Hospital Teams.
💜 From birth up to 18 years old, CHAS offers care for many life-shortening conditions.
💙 CHAS also provides end of life care for the children and their families and supports them throughout the whole journey.
💚 Right now, CHAS has enough money to help only 1 in 3 families.

💛 CHAS offers a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions.

💛 CHAS makes things possible so children have the freedom to be themselves, play
outside, laugh, sparkle, smile, and have treasured moments of joy.

💛 Thanks to support from Scottish and local government, and the generosity of their donors, CHAS provides all care without charge.

💛 This year, CHAS celebrates their 30th anniversary, and we are honoured to be a part of the celebration, by putting together an exciting fundraising event.

Our event is over and it was amazing! We had so much fun so massive thanks again to our sponsors, donators, Katie and Ed and especially our attendees!

We are roughly 16 hours away from our event and we can barely sleep with excitement!!! To anybody who buys a ticket (http://www.rgu.ac.uk/aberdeen-student-festival-tickets) but cannot attend, and also to anyone who donates directly to us (https://paypal.me/AberDreamEvents?locale.x=en_GB) you will BOTH receive a recording of our whole Afternoon Shindig to cook/mix along in your own time! (Those who are attending tomorrow will also receive this)
Ahead of tomorrow, we thought we’d give you a wee treat in the form of 3 facts about our award winning chef Graham Mitchell of Tarragon Catering AND Newmachar Hotel, and our Malmaison Dundee mixologists Amy and Callum, including pictures from our various run throughs to show you what you will be making AND how much fun we've had 😉
Graham Mitchell:
• Scotland’s first surf n turf chef of the year
• Gold winner for Scottish seafood chef
• A craft guild chef of the year national chef of Britain semi finalist

Amy and Callum:
• Amy has worked in hospitality for 14 years, and has exclusively worked in bars and with cocktails for 6 of them
• Amy has written cocktail menus, created cocktail recipes and won several cocktail competitions
• Amy has since transferred that love into the management side and enjoys passing on her knowledge to people like Callum
• Callum has worked in hospitality for 4 years and has found that working in a cocktail bar is so far his favourite
• Callum recently helped Amy write an exclusive mocktail menu for their bar when COVID hit and restrictions would no longer allow them to serve alcohol inside
• This meant they had to be even more creative to try and give people the same experience (minus the alcohol!)
You will see ALL of us tomorrow, and we can’t wait to see you!🥳🤩
