Lily & Mim is a new department store for Aberdeen supported by Aberdeen Inspired, Australia Council for the Arts & VSS Home Shopping Channel

Lily & Mim will be a new art exhibition for Aberdeen that takes the form of a department store. It will use humour in order to critique the shopping culture of the city. It will include a florist, a car show room and a shopping channel. It will use social relations in order to engage new audiences in visual art. Lily & Mim will be an immersive parallel universe t

hat stimulates all the senses. It will use installation to join together a diverse range of artists working across a wide range of media; including Benedict Drew, Susannah Hewlett, James and Eleanor Avery, Jeremy Willett, Natalie Kerr, Amber Robertson and John Walter.
