These incredible pictures were taken by our UK Account Director Helina Thompson on her recent FAM trip to Oman, hosted by the Oman Convention Bureau and DMC Advantage.

The trip included overnight stays at the and Desert Nights Camp with experiences including visiting the traditional Souq, the Mosques, the Opera House and excursions including dune bashing and snorkeling.

Helina said "It was an amazing immersive experience which really showcased everything the destination has to offer for the Mice sector".

It's incredibly important at Ashfield Event Experiences that our exceptional people feel that they can be their authentic selves.

WE HAVE AN A-LISTER!

We are very pleased to announce that our UK-based Production Project Manager, Alix Rollinson has made it into this year's C&IT Magazine 's celebrated A-List - the Top 35 UK Agency Planners under 35 (in partnership with Made in Bern and Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau). Huge congratulations to Alix from everyone here at Ashfield Event Experiences!

Alix had put herself forward for our internal Production Champions programme which focused on supporting staff within the business to develop their knowledge of event production. Alix was one of the bright sparks showing not only enthusiasm for event production, but also valuable potential. When a Production Project Manager role became available, she was the perfect candidate. Alix was immediately full of energy, with a real curiosity to learn and a natural eye for detail. In March 2020 when the pandemic started to impact the events industry significantly, Alix demonstrated resilience and a positive attitude from the outset, constantly thinking on her feet and operating out of her comfort zone.

Alix said: “It was a massive surprise to make it onto C&IT's A-List. It's an honour to have been selected alongside so many talented individuals and by such an esteemed panel. I'm excited to see what the future will hold!”

Today is and recently our UK-based Global Exhibits Team finally got the chance to get together from around the country for the first time in 15 months to discuss their expectations for the future.

“While collaborating virtually has worked well over the past year, we all know that there’s no substitute for meeting face-to-face, so it was wonderful to be back together!” said our Head of Live Events, UK, Dan Walker. “We shared ideas, our experiences of creating virtual exhibit booths, our hybrid predictions, our inspirations and just as importantly, laughs!
