We are an Open Mic set up to give a venue for anyone who wishes to come and play to others without any prejudice no matter as to ability. We do have a strict acoustic instrument rule ( Guitar, Mandolins, Bouzoukis, Violins etc,. ) although electric piano"s can be catered for given advanced notice

TOP DOG OPEN MIC was a busy one last night !! Huge thanks to everyone that came down and supported the night !! Fantastic performances from Me (Sorry about that) ... Gary Nettleton, Pete Crowe, Beverley Morgan, Tee, Mark Bramah, Michelangelo Sand, Phillip Duxbury, Josie Caton-greasley and John (Josie's dad on bass !! amazing player !) John Bradley and Alan Otterwell with Support from the metronome Derek Healey... We managed to squeeze everyone in and we had a full pub to play to.... The Next one will be June 24th !! Looking forward to it already !!! See you then.......

Wow ! TOP DOG OPEN MIC was a quiet one... NOT !!! The board was overflowing.. so thank you all for your patience.... We had a surprise visit from Steve Davis which made my night. Massive thanks to all that played... Keith Smitheman, Lee Baylis, John Bradley, Laura Oldham, Pete Crowe, Beverley Morgan, Josie Caton-greasley, Enni, Mark Bramah, Howard Needham Phil Middleton, Katinka and a new face... Darren Gould-Martin who was nervous but I thought was fantastic and has now made me dig out my old Athlete album that I haven't heard for years !!! Thanks to Mark Hughes for having us and all the regular faces that come and support us every time... Ann Crowe, Martin Abbott. Doreen Robinson, Sue Walker, Phillip Duxbury.. so many more but my brain got soaked in Erdinger last night so sorry if I forgot anyone. !!

Thank you to everyone that came to TOP DOG OPEN MIC last night... Another awesome of great music showcasing local talent. We had a new face Last night.. Cait. I hope she comes again... she was very nervous but was greeted with rapturous apluase at the end of her set. Special to thanks to Everyone that played, Gary Nettleton, Harry Marshall, Mark Bramah, Howard Needham, Pete Crowe, Beverley Morgan, Phillip Duxbury and as always Alan Otterwell finishing the night off for us.
