A big heyups and thanking you to all who braved the weather and came to support Some Comedy Yeah last night and see our Rosco Mclelland and our Chris Macarthur-Boyd (they both r**t enjoyed theeselves so they did).

Next up on Thurs 28th were any Smoking Goat from 20:30 with four lovely smashing comics including our headliner Martin Bearne. More info a-coming soon.

Heyups all and a week to go till this spectacular comedy festival preview show at Glen Park Hotel (Wed 13th - Oooooh)

Two of the stars of new BBC comedy show Up For It - Rosco Mclelland and Chris Macarthur-Boyd bring their latest shows down to wee Ayr.

Rosco won Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2016 snd Chris Macarthur-Boyd very recently appeared in The Herald's 'Who Are Scotlands Funniest 60 People'.

Doors at 19:30 and 20:00 start. £5 and £3concession. An absolute absolute bargain for these two fantastic shows I am SURE you'll agree!!

One more sleep till Some Comedy Yeah returns to Glen Park Hotel.

Tomorrow the Wednesday 13th we have comedians Craig Wilson, Graham Barrie (runner of Glasgow's weekly Yesbar Virgins nights), Susan Riddell (seen on BBC's The Comedy Underground and part of BBC's Writers Room) AND Chris Thorburn (BBC's The Social and Short Stuff).

All for £5 or £3 concession (y'know for students and the retired). 19:30 doors and 20:00 start till 22:30 at the very latest.

Tell thee friends and lets all have a belter.

Heyheyheyupsie to all and a belated Happy New Year to all reading here now here.

Some Comedy Yeah will return to Glen Park Hotel on Wednesday 13th February with Ian White hosting and four smashing comics including the smashing Chris Thorburn (others to be confirmed) and on Wed 13th March Scottish Comedian of the Year winner/our Rosco Mclelland will again be doing his festival preview alongside the equally cracking Christopher Macarthur Boyd.

Before that at The Smoking Goat we have an extra gig this coming Monday 14th from 18:00 - 19:45 with myself (still Ian here), Joe Mcsloy and Rachel Jackson bringing a barrel load'O laughs so if ya fancy an early eve of comedy do come along and add some more positives to this 2019.
Free entry with meself and a bucket for donations at the end.

And after that on Thurs 31st from 20:30 We have 4 comedians and me (Ian for those with little to no short term memory) including comedian/magician Chris Dinwoodie's first time with us at Some Comedy Yeah.

Thanks lots to all who came to Some Comedy Yeah last night at Glen Park Hotel!! Loverly crowd so it was and big shout out to comics Christopher KC, Adam Greig, Robert Neil, Joe McSloy and Paul Mcdaniel.

Thanks also to Sophie Ann Bernklow for naming the below lovely dolly Felicity Feelings. She and we are happy with the name.

One last Some Comedy Yeah before xmas proper kicks in at The Smoking Goat next Thursday 20th from 20:30 with Quincy Rammstein, Susan Riddell, Rachel Jackson AND Rosco Mcclelland bringing a mass of laughs. Will. Be. A. Blast.

A big heyups and thanks SO SO MUCH to all who came along to Some Comedy Yeah at Glen Park Hotel last night. Truly smashing crowd and still buzzing and, dare I say it, feeling positive inside. Huge thanks to comedians Matt Watson, Danielle Paterson and Rosco Mclelland. Cracking bloody night!

Heyheyheyupsie to all here! As the Fringe took over most comics' lives for the month tired time has set in and I must cancel this months Some Comedy Yeah at Glen Park. AAWe WILL be back from October though and can now set your diaries to the second Wednesday of every month from October to December.

As always we will have some smashing cream's crop folk down. Some nights of four comics and maybe (just maybe) a few full Fringe shows are coming our way.

So see all (all that are there) on Wednesdee October 10th.

Lineup will be here when I have it.

Before then Some Comedy Yeah will return to The Smoking Goat on Thursday 27th September with a cracking lineup of John Aggasild, Chris Thorburn, Kathryn Roberts and Graham Barrie. S'gonna be a belter.

All be smashing and smiley and then some there.

Heyupsie all on here! before Amelia Bayler comes to the Glen Park Hotel with her Fringe preview (alongside Nev Nevada and other comics to be confirmed) Some Comedy Yeah is bringing to Ayr Gary Meikle's Fringe preview tomorrow night the 30th July at Smoking Goat form 20:00.
Gary is going from strength to strength and is, as one of his poster quotes says 'following in the footsteps of Bridges'. Come enjoy yaselves and do some laughing on a Monday of all things. Go on. Adjust your routines and have a blast. Be finished by 21:30 also so all good for a school night. All be well there. W/I X

Heyups to all. The next Some Comedy Yeah at Glen Park Hotel will be on Wed 20th from the usual 20:00. Smashing cracking line-up as always this time with Susanne Cassidy, Luis Alcada, Nev and Rachel Jackson with your host Ian White. £5 and £3 concession. Ruddy bargain so it is!

Before that - tomorrow the Thursday 14th - SCY is heading to Smoking Goat from 20:15 for the first time. Confirmed acts there are Adam Greig, Amelia Bayler, Oliver Coleman and Chris KC. All tremendous and proper mix of turns for both gigs.

I can confirm the next Some Comedy Yeah at Glen Park Hotel will be on Wednesday 9th May. Doors 19:30 and 20:00 start. £5 or £3 concession.

Awesome lineup consisting of Matt Watson from Canada, Scottish Comedy Awards 2018 Best Newcomer Nominee Susan Riddell, Declan McGuigan and Craig Wilson. Myself, that is Ian White, hosting as per usual.

We had a sell out last month which was incredible and still fills me wee heart with warm. Lets all have another absolute belter!
