Your have your own fully equipped kitchen, so please feel free to bring your own drinks & nibbles. We can arrange food upon request or as part of a package. Over Night Guests, are encouraged to bring their own Food & Drinks. In addition there is a large sitting room complete with 3 large couches TV/DVD’s & a log burning fire, plus A Mini Cinema room with a massive selection of DVD’s . To top your night we offer a party room, complete with cocktail bar (make your own killer cocktails) Pole Dancing (killer fun) plus Karaoke (killer tunes)

In addition you can hire our Gun Range (Air Soft) perfect for Team Building or Divorce Parties, plus our “truth or dare chair” (killer questions) as the saying goes… “the craic will be deadly”…..

The Star-Gazer….

Secreted away in the Garden is our Luxury Glamping Dome, complete with sleigh-bed, a wide Selection of DVDs, Board Games & best of all, your own private oversized hot tub, set in a 300 year old private barn. Glamping may not be for every one, but the reviews & marriage proposals say its magical. The perfect luxury couples/friends escape, with a twist. (2 to 4 overnight guests)

The Tree-House….

Set 10ft up in our mature tree’s with stunning sunsets & rainbows all the way to the Sperrin mountains. This magical tree house is stuffed with character & luxury & a fun Tarzan/Jane stylish theme. We are certain will become our most popular over night location & take glamping to a whole new level, not to experienced any where else on the island of Ireland. Complete with it’s own private over sized hot tub. It is simply amazing (2 to 4 overnight guests)

Our Most Popular Over Night Package is our couples package; It includes Cocktails on arrival, before a relaxing 1 hour hot tub, followed by a 1 hour luxury Spa Treatment of choice, Then Relax with a DVD or sleep for 2 hours, before enjoying a delicious Chinese meal delivered to your table, make the most of evening with unlimited private hot tub, until check out next day & of course not forgetting welcome pack & a chilled bottle of prosecco & Marshmallows for the camp fire* The price for this starts from £125 per guest per night depending on property & size of your party.

The Properties can be booked individually, as a cluster or as a whole; making it perfect for Salon necessities, Day Spa packages, Couples Escapes, Team Building or Special Occasions such as Big Birthdays & Hen Parties.

Enjoy Outside In our totally private garden, complete with 2 Large over sized Hot Tubs. The gardens offer stunning views & sun sets over the Sperrin Mountains & beyond, where you can sit & enjoy a relaxing breakfast or watch the sun go down over a cocktail….. Please remember we are not licenced & are self-catering, so please feel free to bring your own beers, wines & spirits, we provide a full range of glassware, ice & cocktail blenders, so you don’t have to pay, silly hotel/nightclub prices. There also is a full working kitchen, so if you don’t want to order in, you can simply bring along snacks, light bites or indeed the whole side of a cow.

NB (please note you can only bring your own food & drink when booked in for over night accommodation, day guests are not permitted to bring food or beverages other than water or a birthday cake) Once you arrive you have no need or desire to communicate with the outside world or leave. Welcome to paradise on your doorstep Only 15 Miles from Portrush, Portstewart, 12 Miles from Ballymena & Coleraine & less than an hour from Belfast. With major tourist attractions such as the Dark Hedges, Giant’s Causeway, Bushmill’s Distillery, Dunluce Castle & the Rope Bridge all on our doorstep. However once you arrive you feel like you are 100 Miles from everywhere We would ask that you please take the time to read this section, as it answers our most commonly asked questions Welcome to The Secret Escape, one of NI’s best kept secrets until NOW….. We don’t give exact details until you have completed your booking as to exactly where we are…Why?? Because it’s exactly that “The Secret Escape” However our pictures & reviews should leave you in no two minds as to how fantastic it really is. We book up fast & we book up far in advance….Our Properties are not reserved” until your deposit is paid in full & generally this means, that if you say you are going to book today & then pay your deposit a week later, you’re required date is often gone. Sounds obvious but you would be amazed at the number of guests who fail to understand a booking is not a booking until a deposit is paid. Please note The Main House is a large country house, so unless you, have booked & paid for "exclusive use of the house" you may well be sharing the house with other guests. We do however try to never book more than 2 parties (3 max) on any given night. Use of the house starts from just £250 early week. However it is important to note that unless you have booked exclusive use you may have to share. We find the majority of guests are both comfortable & happy to meet & make new friends.

Exclusive use of house commences from 6pm (There may be day guests prior to this time) Due to the rural location of the properties, we do not have wi-fi & cannot guarantee an electrical supply 24/7 (it goes off once or twice per year & no compensation is offered in this circumstances as this is beyond our control) like anywhere else in the world, especially N.I.

Booking Policy……

We require a £100 per guest, to secure an over night booking. Any over night package costing less that £100 requires full payment at time of booking

Sun - Thurs £499 for midweek exclusive Fridays £999 for exclusive use & Saturdays is £2000 for weekend exclusive use of house

A £25 deposit per guest is required for “Day Guests”

Please note no booking is secured until a deposit has been received

This is non-refundable & the date or numbers booked are not changeable. Irrespective of circumstances.

This is paid via, card pay-pal or bank-transfer

All bookings are changeable up to 1 Calendar Month in advance (ie you can add numbers or upgrade the package, however please remember, all deposits are non-refundable or transferable should numbers be reduced) After this point no further changes, can be made & the party organiser is responsible for the balance in full upon arrival.

(All new accommodation bookings within 7 days require payment in full in advance)

The Balance for all other groups can be paid monthly (as a group) in advance or in cash on arrival. Please note we do not as yet take card payment at this location & if you choose to pay on arrival, it is strictly cash.

We would suggest that if you are un-certain of numbers, that you book for less & add more at later date if required, however it is worth noting, that we cannot always accommodate additional numbers at a later date, clearly we will do our very best to do so. Extra guests can be added up to 72 hours in advance of the date of arrival, however are subject to availability.

External guests are not permitted to visit with out prior notification (even that aunt who just lives around the corner, who popped over to say hello) & any additional guests discovered in the premises or grounds, are subject to a min additional charge of £100 per guest. Apologies if this seems obvious or indeed harsh, however we occasionally have challenging guests & would ask every one to take the time to read & acknowledge our terms & conditions.

We appreciate that un-foreseen circumstance happen, how-ever we are a small start up business our policy has to be strict & therefor the party organiser is fully responsible & accountable for all final payments, irrespective of numbers or circumstance. (including illness & death)

By paying a deposit, this indicates that you as the party organiser have read & acknowledge, that you accept responsibility for all final payments in full, irrespective of circumstance.

Check in policy:

Could we please ask, that you arrive promptly at the agreed time & that all of the party are ready for treatment’s one hour after agreed arrival time, unless we have specifically agreed other wise. Unfortunately folks here in N.I. tend to run on several different time zones & we charge £25 per therapist for treatments starting late or reduce the treatment times to coincide with the team’s agreed working hours.

Most of our ladies (like many of you) are working mums & we are frequently having to ask them to stay on beyond their scheduled finishing times, resulting in them often having to pay additional child care, which is simply not fair. We can generally work around any check in time, however when guests turn up as they have done recently anywhere between 30 minutes & indeed in one case 4 hours late, we have had no option but to introduce, a new check in policy. We would ask that you leave in plenty of time & arrive promptly.

A £200 (cash) security is payable upon arrival for The House & £100 for the Gate-Lodge, Star gazer & Tree House, along with full balance, please note these are paid in cash as we do not take credit card at this location at this time. You will have been sent the balance in advance, so please ensure that you have the correct amount. . Please note check in cannot be completed, with out balance & security deposit paid in full. Security deposit will be returned at check out, assuming the property internally & externally (including the hot tub & hot tub area) is left in the same condition as presented upon arrival.

NB No security deposit is not required for day time guests only overnight, however the same charge’s will be applied for any damages, including leaving the hot tub & surrounding area in an un-usable state. As party organiser you are responsible for any & all additional charges.

What can you expect… Complete privacy apart from maybe the odd cow. How ever please note that the area’s around the Escape are working farms & can occasionally lead to the smells & noise’s associated with the country side The house has 4 en-suite bedrooms, one family room with adjacent large family bathroom, with full size bath & walk in double shower. We can accommodate further guests, in the Cinema room (king sized bed) Accommodating up to 15 guests in total if required. There is also a TV room with the majority of main channel’s including kids & music. We do not offer Wi-fi as we encourage our guests to relax & forget about the out-side world.However 3G/4G is generally good through out the building. In addition we provide fluffy robe’s, ample towels, hair dryer & of course bed linen. With cot’s & high chairs available up on request. The outside area is safe & secure for children of all ages. We consider taking small house trained pets at the Gate-Lodge, however as we are still part of a working farm; So please do not turn up with a pet no matter how small, unless you have agreed confirmation in advance. The hot tubs in the garden, comfortably seats up to 16 guests (max 8 guests per hot tub at any one time & are private. (Please remember The hot tub is a machine & as such from time to time, may break down, just like us. On the very rare occasion that this may happen, we will give you as much notice as possible & of course a full refund on the hot tub) (NB refund on hot tub only) The hot tub is suitable all year round & sits a constant 38-40 degrees….So even in the snow you lie out kick back & enjoy. We ask that you do not smoke or bring glass or food into the hot tub. This will result in the security deposit be with held in full, as we provide a variety of plastic glasses suitable for cocktails, beers, wines & of course prosecco & champagne.

It is advised that you use the hot tub for a maximum of 45 minutes at any one time & allow at least an hour before returning to the hot tub. We will endeavor to ensure the hot tub is for sole use of you & your guests during your stay. You will be shown that the hot tub is perfectly clean on arrival & both the hot tub & surrounding area, are subject to inspection prior to check out. Any damage, litter or contamination of the water, (no matter how small) will result in an additional £200 service charge being added to your final bill. If the following guest/guests are unable to use the hot tub, as a result of your lack of consideration, the £200 plus the full cost of their visit will be added to you bill.

This is NON NEGOTIABLE & the lead guest (ie the person who made the booking) is fully accountable for any & all final settlements. This includes broken glass around the hot tub & surrounding area, general rubbish & debris including cigarette buts & burns. Ash trays are provided please use If the guest following you are unable to use the hot tub for any reason; There is an additional charge that covers all costs of their return stay at the property. Please do not exceed the maximum number of guests in each hot tub, 8 in the garden; especially If booking a large party occupying both properties, as previously this has resulted in damage, where by the guests had to pay several £1000 pounds for the repair of a hot tub.

There is strictly NO GLASS…SMOKING, VA**NG OR FOOD Permitted in or around the hot tub area. Guests abusing these rules will be asked to leave the property & pay the minimum charge of £200 There are no exceptions

Strictly no entry to the hot tub for all of the following reasons:

Pregnancy/Blood Pressure or under doctor’s care/advice

(please seek your doctors advice & sign declaration before entering the hot tub for any of the above)

For a minimum of 2 hours after treatments, as the oils used will soil the water & eradicate the benefits to your skin.

If you are wearing fake tan or shimmer, even if only on legs or arms or excessive make up this will soil the water. Please ask a team member for a mitt to help remove in the shower

If you have or are recovering from a verruca, unless your foot is completely clear you may not enter the hot tub, should you do we will immediately empty the hot tub & a min charge of £200-max £500 will be levied.

Pregnancy (please seek your doctors is you think/know you are pregnant)

If you are under 16, (with-out express permission, from both management & parent/guardian)

If you are under the influence of Drugs or alcohol

Please show consideration for fellow guests late at night & keep noise to a reasonable level , Strictly no amplified music after 10.30pm

Please take care whilst entering & exiting the hot tubs, as we accept no liabilities, for injury trips or falls

Please note the Hot Tub cover must be firmly & securely in place at ALL TIME’S when not in use & temperature controls or water jets must not be manually adjusted under any circumstances

If at check out we are unable to use the hot tub (for any reason) on the same OR following day.

Then the £200 charge applies, plus all additional cost for refunds to following guests.

If you are uncertain of how to operate or correctly remove or replace the hot tub cover, please ask a member of the team to assist.

The hot tub is fantastic addition to your stay, however they are very expensive to purchase, maintain & run; So please show the same respect & courtesy to following guests that you would desire & expect yourself. We want you to enjoy the benefits & privacy of the hot-tub & thank you in advance for your co-operation. Our Spa services are on site & we can cater for most beauty treatments & requests, our specialties are massage & make-up application, including spray tan. We only use the very best products available & can tailor a package to suit your particular needs. Treatments are available to both guests & non guests, indeed many of our clients first experience of Beauty at the Secret Escape comes after a stay in the Escape. Bookings for Treatments generally need to be made 7 days in advance, occasionally we can accommodate requests at shorter notice

Please note Accommodation, Electrical Supply & Services (including Hot Tub & Treatments) but not limited to; cannot be guaranteed 24/7 In a case where we fail to provide a service or product, appropriate compensation may be offered.

However please remember we are based in a rural location & occasionally electric supplies are lost (sometimes overnight) & these things are beyond our control.
