Plenty to see and do with craft stalls, refreshments, circus skills, giant bubbles, ice cream, children's races, bric a brac, tombola, skip to titles, crazy golf, plant stall and an amazing raffle.... Plus of course a gazebo of serenity.. Join me there for a hand massage or a top up of your SPF Moisturiser... I am feeling positive about the weather. 🌞🌞🌞

Teesdale Operatic Society Night at the Musicals is touring the Dale, with shows in Mickleton Village Hall on 9th Feb, Scarth Memorial Hall, Staindrop on 16th Feb, Gainford Academy Theatre on 23rd Feb and then for the last night at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Barnard Castle on Friday 1st March.

Synopsis:-
On a remote island off the coast of Ireland, Pádraic is devastated when his buddy Colm suddenly puts an end to their lifelong friendship. Good morning, I'm helping with this coffee morning, here's a message from my neighbour, the organiser Jayne. Please support this very worthwhile cause.

My daughter, Hannah, suffers from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) which is a complex multi-system disease affecting approx 250,000 in the UK.

Symptoms vary in severity and include profound fatigue, pain, orthostatic intolerance, sensitivity to light, sounds, smells and touch, and cognitive impairment. For Hannah these symptoms have been life changing. Hannah is no longer able to work or exercise as, like one in four patients suffering from ME, she is now housebound and most often unable to get out of bed, relying on her partner to care for and support her.

The Open Medicine Foundation undertakes much needed research into this debilitating disease through their 'End ME/CFS Project' which aims to provide precise diagnostic tools and life-changing treatments for people with ME/CFS and its related chronic complex diseases, including Long Covid, as soon as possible.

On this night the talented Making New Plans are performing a range of 80's hits at Mickleton village hall. The evening starts with the doors opening at 7,music from 7.30pm. There will be an 80"s quiz in the interval. Full bar and Raffle too but no food at this event.
