Hi everyone, on Sunday the 8th September, we are doing a pop up roast dinner delivered to your door between 12 -2 Sunday lunch time, it's 2 courses,at the price ,of 13 pounds ahead ,here's the menu ,
*roast topside of beef, meat juice gravy.
Horseradish creme fraiche.
*roast leg of pork, sage and onion,cider gravy.
*lentil ,nut roast ,veggie gravy.
All served with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrot and Swede,red cabbage, fricassee of vegetables.
*sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce.
This will be paid by bank transfer,and will be limited, so if you fancy a roast delivered to your door ,private message me on here ,cheers ,stay safe ,Dan

Hi everyone, if there's any chefs,or budding chefs ,kitchen porters,out there after a bit of work ,please give me a text,or just pop up to the King Alfred for a chat ,plenty on up here ,the staff they have up here have been doing an amazing job ,considering what they've got to work with,but they've turned up to work understaffed, and pushed on ,things are not going to change over night ,especially without a full team ,all reading from the same hymn sheet,so if you fancy a change or getting back into a kitchen, give us a shout,cheers Dan 🙏👍

two weeks on a corporate gig up the lakes now,after a few days up the king allfred consulting,and getting the feel of the place,be back in july ,to push a new menu ,hopefully move forward, its going to be a push, as like everywhere lack of staff,but got high hopes 👍🙏👌

hi everyone, just to let people know, im no longer a part of the hive bistro set up ,due to some underhand things going on whilst i was on my first proper holiday for 2 years ,the kitchen has been left in good hands,so im up for any freelance work,private parties, weddings, funerals, christenings, this is my bag really, and want to get back to it ,cheers Dan 🙏👍

id just like to address the subject of deposits in restaurants,...anyone who knows anything about the industry knows it is hard ,and businesses can be running on just paying the bills, with all the hike in rates,food, and general living, so if a business asks for a deposit, and a party turns up a couple of people down,the individual deposit is taken,...now this can normally be resolved with a phone call in advance ,but if people are just going to rock up,this is what will and should happen,deposits are there for a reason, cheers ,
