❤️ Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️

Not only is it Valentine's for us, but it's also a milestone, as my partner Sam has now worked with me full-time for a year!
Where has the time gone?!

Working with your partner can be challenging, but as today is Valentine's Day, I want to focus on the positives.

So what happens when a couple decides to work together? The answer is simple: they create a dynamic duo that brings even more joy, satisfaction, and success into their lives.

Working together as a couple has many benefits, some of which include:

1: Strengthening The Bond - When a couple works together, they spend a lot of time with each other. This allows them to deepen their understanding of each other. Additionally, working together on a common goal can help couples feel more connected.

2: Building Trust - When a couple works together, they need to be able to trust each other. Trust is crucial for success in any relationship, and working together can help couples build and strengthen trust in each other. This trust can carry over into other areas of their lives and make their relationship even stronger.

3: Improving Communication - Working together requires effective communication, and this is something that couples can work on and improve. Good communication skills can be developed through working together and can help a couple better understand each other's needs and perspectives.

4: Better Teamwork - Couples who work together understand each other's strengths and weaknesses, and they can use these to build a strong and effective team. With a shared goal and understanding, they can support each other and help each other succeed.

5: Increased Efficiency - When a couple works together, they can divide and conquer tasks, which can increase efficiency and productivity. This can make their work easier, faster, and more enjoyable, allowing them to achieve more in less time.

In conclusion, working together as a couple the positives far outweigh the negatives. So, if you are a couple considering working together, go for it! You will be amazed at the results.

Today Derryn is at Reading Football Stadium. ⚽ No, not to watch the football, but to photograph a client's seminar followed by their staff headshots.

We all want to be productive and successful, but don’t forget to take a break from work every once in a while. It's vital for our mental, physical, and emotional well-being!

One thing we will take into 2023 is to make sure we take a step away from the business more to focus on our mental health.

We did precisely that on Friday. We downed tools, jumped in the car and planned a 5hr hike around Lynton and Lynmouth with our Border Collie, Milo. We left feeling so refreshed!

Taking regular breaks can help creative juices flow and provide the space we need to make informed decisions. We highly recommend taking at least one day a week off to have your own little adventure to recharge.

This year we covered 📸 the Trowbridge Christmas Lights Switch-On and Lantern Festival.

Along with the beautiful sensory garden, samba band Jamma de Samba and Rock Choir - Bath Bristol Cheltenham Stroud Yate, it certainly got us in the Christmas spirit.

Le Vignoble Bristol is an independent wine lounge, shop & merchant also found in Plymouth and Bath, offering wines, champagnes and liqueurs from all over the world. 🍷 🍾

It's wonderful to see first-hand the impact their dogs and trainers have, giving those with sight loss the confidence and support they need to live their lives to the full.

Yes! Back in June, Derryn photographed the 14th staging of the Starlight Walk event by Prospect Hospice

The Starlight Walk is a 10 or 15-km night walk to raise money for the hospice open to men and women, which took place in Swindon.

As you can see it was a bright, colourful and fun evening.

Last month we were in Bristol covering Bristol Cycling Campaign.

The event named - ‘Big ride for safer cycling’ was an opportunity to show your love for cycling with a family-friendly bike ride to promote the need for safer cycling.
It all kicked off from Brunswick Square ending at College Green.

The ride was a celebration of cycling, but with a serious message about cycling safety. Held in response to the recent removal of a cycle lane on Cheltenham Road.

If you haven't already, you can still fill out their ePetition - Make Bristol a place where anyone feels safe to cycle.

Last week, we had a fantastic time at the Bath Rugby Foundation Fundraising Dinner and Auctions. The Double Tree Hilton was the perfect venue for an evening filled with mouth-watering food, amazing auction items, and non-stop entertainment. Here’s a behind-the-scenes from a recent shoot with The British Hemp Company, whose farms cover a total of 250 acres across twelve locations throughout the UK – from Totnes to Aberdeen, and South Wales to Norfolk. Please note: These licensed farms produce hemp oil, also known as hemp seed oil, which is made from hemp, a cannabis plant but contains little to no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
