Love the colours this time of year 🍂 (combined with blustery heavy rainfall in this case).
This time last week we were setting up for our third craft fayre. We were blown away (again) by the great footfall and lovely comments.
Thank you to everyone who supported us in making it a success and to our talented stall holders for having such amazing stalls full of unique and handmade treasures.

Caroline, Julie and Mandy would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and visited us all yesterday at Kempston East Methodist Church hall 👏.
It was a great day 😊.
Lots of amazing stalls and beautiful handmade gifts.

Details of how much we raised through the tombola to follow soon.
Hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

The Happy Cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈🐈‍⬛ have been busy this morning collecting all the roadside banners and posters in the rain 🌧️ 😁.

We’ve been to see the marvellous people @ Bedford Foodbank depot this morning to pick up a donation crate.

They told us -
*They were all packed up with two vans to take to the Salvation Army for a two hour slot where the food parcels will go to upto 100 households in need

*In 2019 they helped 11,500 households
*In 2020 they helped 20,000 households
*In 2023 they have already helped 21,000 households and are expected to help another 4,000 before the end of the year as demand is higher in the winter

There will be a donation crate at our event tomorrow and they are looking for the items listed.

We also have a charity tombola in aid of Bedford Foodbank. Our generous stall holders are donating a handmade item from their stall as a prize. Two tickets for 50p. Any ticket ending in a ‘0’ is a winner and you can choose from anything on the table. Good luck 😉.

Our fab-u-lous Happy 🐈‍⬛ Cat baker, Julie, is baking up some delicious goodies for us for Saturday. If you haven’t tasted Julie’s cakes you are in for real treat, and if you have then you know this to be true.

Come along on Saturday and find out which cakes have made the final list and see which is your favourite. They are all spectacular but our favourite is her pear and ginger cake. 😋

Thought we’d tell you how we came up with the name - Happy Cat Events. Here’s Caroline’s fur baby - Lily - chasing her tail. Lily tends to join us at Happy Cat HQ so that how the name came to be.
