Each wedding I go to im always blown away by the people / the decor / the vibezzzz. It's so important as a small biz to attract YOUR people. I drive home each time with the biggest smile on my face.

Can't wait for the next 6 months of weddings. 🤩

// WINTER WEDDINGS //

Crazy to be editing these awesome winter weddings in spring but I was SO lucky with the ones I had. Blue skies and festive vibes. And my final one of 2022 even had the prettiest snow!

So yeah it does take a while to get your films from me. 1) because double covid weddings well and truly put me on the editing backlog (yes STILL fu***ng with us!) but also 2) I love my couples and my job so much. I give each edit the same amount of time and creativity. I'm never going to do a rush job just to get it done! This is something my couples are gonna watch for the rest of their lives!

So I guess this post turned into a massive thank-you to all my couples who never pestered or complained about getting their films quickly. You've all been incredibly patient and I know it's been worth the wait when I get your lovely messages.

I'm currently editing and amaze December wedding which had the most awesome decs, pink suits and cool neons. And then coming right up .david perfect snowy Christmassy wedding! Totally spoilt.

Then I can't WAIT to get showing the incredible weddings I've shot so far this year!! Honestly - I get to meet the most amazing humans and spend the best day with them!! Wow. Lucky duck.

// PHOTOGRAPHER LOVE //

Deffo one of my fave things about my job is working with amazing photographers.

It's SO important to book videographers and photographers who work well together but who also bring the same level of energy and vibe to your day!

I love it when the photographer is up for trying new things with me, getting creative on the day and working as a team so that you get the very best from your photos and film.

Things have definitely changed over the years. When I started in 2017 the video was often a last minute thing that the couple weren't really invested in. The photographer was always booked first and then a videographer MIGHT get booked if they could find the budget. Back then I really appreciated the referrals from photographers but I of course lived for the enquiries from couples who truly wanted a unique video of their day. (Looking at you 💗)

I'm so happy that video is now hugely sort after and highly regarded and I'm now in the wonderful position where I recommend photographers to couples who have already booked me and who want to make sure they have a photographer I love working with. Recommending my faves to my couples is the best feeling because not only am I going to work with one of my besties on the day but I know my couple are going to get THE very best duo on the day and the most amazing photos and films at the end of it.

Want to know who all my fave wedding suppliers are? Ask for my "Book of Besties" when you book. It's full of incredible photographers, florists, planners, stylist etc who I've worked with over the years.

// BACKDROPS + STYLING //

I'd always recommend having at least one super cute backdrop that your videographer and photographer can play with. It doesn't have to be crazy over the top (although - ya know - I do love that 😂🙄) Just something that reflects your day and your vibe.

I have about 300TB worth of footage just of Sally and Jay's amazing props / backdrops / styling deets. Honestly I dunno how I'm gonna squeeze it all in!! Absolutely insane styling. Makes sense Sally then went on to set up .events after the success of her own wedding!! Go give them a follow!

Not long to wait now 🤩

I was amazed at how easy it was to set-up and get to grips with.
