“The Lunar Effect are a quartet with a flair for hair and a penchant for fuzzy, snarling riffs that have been shaking the astral plane since their formation in 2016. Starting as a grunge outfit with a retro hard-rock impulse, they began to expand their sonic scope and crash-landed onto the stoner scene with their debut album ‘Calm Before the Calm’ in 2019. With every song propelled into orbit by fuzz laden riffs, nasty enough to blow the moon-dust off your amp, there is no denying that the Londoners mean business. Psychedelic visions and existential ideas are weaved throughout their brooding vintage sound, while bending stoner rock into their own unique mould. This album pushes the listener into new and uncharted waters. - DOOM CHARTS *( #4 in Doom Charts 2019 end of year list) The Lunar Effect draw from their influences and paint their own psychedelic debut masterpiece. - MAXIMUM VOLUME MUSIC A masterpiece that makes me believe in the future of rock’n’roll once again. - THE QUEENS BASTARD’S A groovy and tight rhythmic section slowly develops the grooves and lays the foundation for the warm fuzzy guitar riffs and gritty raw solos to float around until the mighty and hypnotic vocals take over and tie everything together into a sonic bundle of Kyuss, Radio Moscow and Graveyard. After a successful gig with Bobbie Dazzle & Bldsugr Raw Power had decided to bring back another event to The Dark Horse in Moseley! We will also be joined by Vinyl Dj Tadhg Bean-Bradley ( guitarist of Bobbie Dazzle & Strange Brew) …

We also have Ric Neumann bringing back his mad Light Show for the bands .

Spinning the best Classic Rock & Metal tunes 🤘🎸

Doors open at 8pm till 3am

Riotous Hard-rock with “catchy riffs and melodic hooks” which frequently draw comparisons to S*x Pistols and Guns N’ Roses. Tender Vendetta have been best described as “bringing back that old school attitude which we all miss from modern rock".

Magnatas Court are an all-female, p***y goth four-piece coming kicking and screaming straight from the Black Country.

Magnatas Court was formed in late 2022 while still at sixth form by Keeley Wright and Cait Turner. They embody the frenzied angst of late 70s Punk, with its driving bass and loud rallying calls.

They claim a direct influence from the Riot Grrrl movement, being inspired by bands such as Hole, X Ray Spex and The Slits. They also fuse elements of Classic Goth, Reggae and Punk.

Magnatas Court are very excited to be releasing our debut single, “A Feeling You Can’t Shake Off,” which is out now!

“The band formed during the dark days of 2020 and were quickly signed by Heavy Psych Sounds, who released Ultra in the fall of 2021 and established the band’s penchant for delivering crushing doom riffs and haunting vocals accentuated by bursts of psychedelic flair and swampy Americana swagger. And while the chemistry of long-time friends Garrett Zanol (guitar/vocals), Ian Nelson (bass) and Chase Howard (drums) was apparent upon listening to their debut, their bond was further strengthened by relentlessly touring the western United States and completing a month-long tour of Europe.
The trio almost immediately began looking forward, road-testing and crystalizing the songs that would comprise their follow-up, which found the band reuniting with Ultra producer Dawson Scholz. The result is Umbra: a singular statement that is more focused and cohesive than its predecessor, while managing to capture the immersive, free-flowing experience of their live show. Umbra is set to release on October 6 via Heavy Psych Sounds Records.”
