I cannot deny that one of the reasons I love delivering my baby and toddler language sessions 🎵🇪🇸🇫🇷🇮🇹🎵 in beautiful at Dame Elizabeth Hall is because it’s just a short walk across to the delightful Kafenion café, so it gives me a perfectly good excuse to get a bit of work done and enjoy some delicious mushrooms on sourdough and a turmeric latte! 😋 (It’s also a great place for our big and little BilinguaSingers to come for a post-class chat and coffee/lunch!😉)

Our story

Bournville's hidden treasure. We have three beautiful rooms available to hire for wedding receptions, meetings, parties, baby showers, community groups, conferences and all kinds of celebrations. Dame Elizabeth Hall is a community hall managed by Bournville Village Council (BVC) on behalf of Bournville Village Trust. Situated in the heart of Bournville on Firbank Close, behind Elizabeth Court, Oak Tree Lane. The hall is operated on a not-for-profit basis, and all charges collected are put towards the care and maintenance of the building and its facilities.

The building is ideal for meetings and conferences as it sits away from main roads but is also easily accessible by public transport. Bournville train station is just a short 10 minute walk away, as well as the number 27 and number 11 buses stopping just 2 minutes walk away from the building.

We have three rooms available for hire. The two ground floor rooms have disability access, and also have a lockable interconnecting door. The first floor room is our only room which does not have disabled access, it is accessed by stairs from the main corridor, it also has a separate spiral fire escape. All of the rooms have a projector screen. The main hall and first floor room benefit from their own kitchen areas, which are available for hirers to use at no additional charge.

All rooms are accessible via the main corridor and in addition, the main hall also has separate doors which can be used for loading and unloading of equipment (3 steps).
