Jazz at Fletchers

4 days to go until we are graced with of the UK’s very best! An incredible night awaits!

The date is fast approaching for Simon Spillett to join us at at Fletchers Bar & Eatery on Sunday 20th October-7pm
Simon is currently regarded by many as one of, if not the greatest tenor saxophonist on the UK jazz scene.
This is an incredibly rare opportunity to see one of the UK’s most esteemed and celebrated jazz musicians right in our doorstep in Kings Heath.
I’ll be joined by a fantastic back-line of Simon J Smith and Miles Levin on double bass and drums and of course the man himself on the tenor saxophone

This is a free event, but we do politely ask for small donations from the audience and help to pay all the working musicians a living wage and in this case, accommodate our very special guest who will be travelling from Buckinghamshire that day.

I’d also like to thank our mutual friend Simon Peace-a long time supporter of jazz in Birmingham and across the Midlands, who introduced us in Stratford back in February and told Simon about Jazz at Fletchers and from there the wheels were set in motion!

So come along and get there early to get a good seat-not one you want to miss!

Suzi Woods is a world class vocalist who is collaborations and clientele have took her all over the world-performing for Princess Caroline of Monaco, David Beckham, BBC and ITV, and touring with artist such as Jools Holland Elton John and Annie Lennox. Jazz at Fletchers are delighted to welcome here for what will be an incredible evening!
