AECC UNIVERSITY COLLEGE NEIGHBOURHOOD FESTIVAL

On Saturday 22nd July, AECC University College are holding a Neighbourhood Festival between 11am - 2pm.

Dorset Mental Health Forum are holding 'Forum Festival', on Saturday 24th September, 10am - 4pm, in celebration of their 30th anniversary.

There will be the usual food, entertainment and children’s fun, as well as wellbeing activities and a chance to learn about the charity through sharing of stories and experiences.

Hiring an Event Planner/Event Stylist is not cheap. Here’s why…

Apart from all the things you see being done/styled at your event, there are so many other things behind the scenes that you don’t see;

👉🏻 Admin (SO much admin)

👉🏻 Venue visits - to meet clients, to measure rooms/tables etc and check access

👉🏻 Ordering bespoke products and unpacking, checking, cleaning them

👉🏻 Cleaning - mostly glassware and removing wax from candle holders and then washing and removing smears

👉🏻 Packing up from the unit and loading the car

👉🏻 Packing up the event, individually wrapping breakables, reloading the car (which can be like a game of Tetris) and returning everything to storage

👉🏻 Many early mornings and late nights to work around the venue’s other events

Obviously there are about eight thousand cups of tea that have to be funded too 😂

There was no theme for this corporate client’s 30th business birthday.

As I’ve worked with them before, I knew the process would be smooth, so I put a couple of mood boards together with some ideas.

We came up with some greenery and white with pops of colour so I sourced coloured glass vases and coloured wine and water glasses, along with coloured glass candle holders.

Amongst the lovely coloured items were clear glass candle stems, all set on sage green chiffon and under a canopy of wisteria trees.
