BRIDAL BOUQUET STYLE GUIDE and things to know when planning your flowers!
✨SAVE THIS FOR LATER ✨
Planning your style for the season of your wedding is a great starting point, eg think soft pastels for spring, pops of dried grasses and earthy tones for autumn. I can guide you with seasonal flower ideas.
Tell me all about the style of your dress. There are no strict rules here but knowing the shape and length will be taken into consideration when creating your bouquet.
Create a moodboard or just get some inspo pics. Don’t overthink it just collate images you feel you like, look back at the images and you’ll see a common theme, maybe all pinks, lots of foliage, boho inspired 🧡
Trust the process! When I first meet a bride to be and have a little chat I can just imagine what bouquet would suit her style and personality. When I plan & create bouquets I’ll be thinking about my bride, chats we had, what we laughed about and what would be perfect for her 🫶

At Wild & Mae, we believe in the the magic of Christmas and getting our hands dirty making lots of Christmas wreaths! Join me, Nichola to unleash your creativity and enjoy this 2hr festive workshop. With bundles of scented foliage, cinnamon sticks and lots more decorations we will create a traditional wreath to adorn your door this winter.

Suitable for beginners.

There’s some thoughts to help you decide ⬇️

🧡Your personality! Strange but so true I find that my brides who are a little shy, maybe introvert can’t handle the idea of a full on floral crown, but my party loving brides who love the idea of being centre of attention for the day can’t wait to adorn that crown! …
POV I’d so be that introverted bride with maybe a flower hair slide if I was feeling brave 😂
💚What hair style are you going for? All up, half up, all down? Chat with your hair stylist to confirm how a flower crown can be fixed in place and if you want to remove it for the evening how you may do this yourself without messing up your hair!
💛Your flower choices, I’d recommend a mix of dried and fresh flowers with foliage, this will then last throughout the day and evening in all weathers.
🤍Consider all you options from single stems of flowers added to your hair, hair accessories, veils and tiaras.
