I had the absolute privilege of being asked by the wonderful to create a surprise fairy garden for her daughters birthday party, and god did it come out exactly how I imagined it to! š§
So much moss, wax flowers and grasses to create the look of the grounds surrounding a babbling brook where fairies and pixies may gather, it was one of the installs that leaves me itching to create more like it!
Itās not just a business transactionā¦
For me, itās about the whole experience.
I want to build a relationship with you and your fiancƩ, ensuring that I 100% get your vision and personality, and can weave this into the designs that I create for you.
This is why I set up WhatsApp chats with all my couples. I am a super visual person and it helps me a lot having that direct contact with you to ask and answer questions and offer advice.
Others may find this too much, but for me personally, itās perfect. My couples arenāt another number.
I know with it been hotter than the sun today and only August the thought of is probably the last on everyoneās minds, however, this is the ONLY workshop I will be doing this year so spaces are limited!

Today is a bit of a special and poignant day in TCC journey.
I know this may not be a big deal to many, but to me, this is everything.
To be able to grow my business to the level that I have had taken a lot of hard work, many sleepless hours and dreams that I never thought would come true. And here I am, stood in front of my own van (minus branding which will come soon!) that I own and feeling pretty damn proud of myself.
Of course, this isnāt without the loving support of my family, friends, and my dream team husband and son. But most importantly, every single one of you who has chosen me past present and future to create incredibly unique florals for your special days.
Now Iām off to eat some pasta and fill it up with petrol as letās face it, without fuel neither of us will get far! š

So while I may not be on the socials as much as I would like, Iām still here, cracking on behind the scenes. I have 2 weddings next week, then 2 weddings, a party & 3 days of freelancing the week after.

Over the next of couple of months I have decided to sit down and finally put onto paper (then a table) some ideas I have had brewing for table scapes and colour schemes. Iām so excited to finally put into practice all the sketches and scrambled notes, and maybe even put together almost a mini brochure of different ideas for my brides and/or grooms / main character couples.

Receiving photos from my couples is honestly one of the BEST moments for me! I love seeing how much they enjoyed their day and loved what I created for them.

Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure of creating a bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets for their wedding at and I had the best time creating these show stopping displays!
Like the plonker I am I forgot to take any of the bridesmaid bouquets which were a mix of red, green, orange, pink and blue gypsophilia which I sprayed by hand with flower-safe spray and looked INSANE!!!
And this bouquet? Well, the lime green orchids made it for me!

The great thing about backdrops is that they have a dual purpose.
A perfect backdrop for your ceremony or wedding breakfast, but also another fantastic photograph spot for all your guests to enjoy!
These are just a few of the gorgeous displays Iāve been able to do, and I am currently making a couple of new stands for upcoming weddings which will also be available to hire like my wooden arch frame and macrame.

If I had a pound for every very time I have heard or had people stand in front of my stand at fairs and events and say āI could make that for cheaperā I would be able to buy my family a semi-nice meal at a semi nice restaurant š
Now, I have absolutely no doubt that you could make what I do yourself, but what are the ramifications of you saying that to or in front of a small business owner?
When we attend fairs, events and even your wedding day, we have taken time away from our family and friends to work to keep our businesses (which we love and adore, otherwise we wouldnāt do it!) thriving and meeting new people to help. Hearing this, or having it actually said to usā¦ it can be quite a kick in the teeth.
We work hard to develop our products and style, making us unique and damn proud of what we do. Plus it is our livelihood you are commenting on! We do need to make a profit.
I am all for a bit of DIY, in fact I encourage it! But if you are, there is absolutely no need to make these comments. We have years of experience in what we do so you arenāt just paying for the finished product. You are paying for our expertise, our knowledge, our time.
Plus we bloody love what we do. Itās more than a job, itās a passion and a creative outlet ā„ļø
Your day means making it YOUR DAY!
You donāt have to conform to other people interpretations of what you should āhaveā on your big day.

I have a few wedding fairs/open days coming up right until the end of May when I have to stop for a bit to focus on the summer madness, so these are you opportunities to come and meet me, find out about what I do and decide if I am the right supplier for you!!!
The key thing I like to let people know about TCC is that we are all about the sustainability. Thatās why using succulents, cacti and airplants is second nature to me! They last forever (if you look after them) but also itās a unique and fun way to keep an element of your special day forever!!!
With this, it is important to make sure that we do what we can for our planet š so that is why I avoid floral foam at all costs! The micro plastics take tens if not HUNDREDS of years to breakdownā¦ would you put something like that inside your body? š
So I use things that are either biodegradable or reusable, whether this is .wool.international blocks or good old chicken wire sausages filled with moss!
Sometimes, being able to do something for someone else who really needs a spark of light in a dark moment can change your whole day, your whole week. Even your whole life.
This year is my 10th year in remission for cancer. That alone is absolutely wild to me, as I remember the conversation with the doctor like it was yesterday. All the appointments, all the drugs, the operation that left me scarred on the skin as well as internally. There isnāt a day that goes by that Iām reminded of how fu***ng lucky I am to have been given a second chance and to continue with my life.
Last week, I had a call from a lovely lady who was urgently organising a last minute wedding for her friend who sadly, due to the same disease which plagued me, was bringing her wedding forward to be able to marry the love of her life. It felt like fate in a way that during a pivotal year in my remission that this call came in, so it was an instant yes from me.
Lauren, it was the biggest joy and pleasure to make your bouquet and buttonholes for you, and I hope you had the most magical day that you deserved š
My most popular centrepieces (and, letās face it, kinda my trademark and what Iām best known forā¦) are my centrepieces, filled to the brim with gorgeous succulents, cacti and airplants, and of course fairy lights for a bit of drama š
The great thing about these centrepieces is the sustainability. They will last for years and is a great way to give your favourite people a piece of your wedding that they can enjoy (but I always say, you can also keep them all for yourself and I wonāt judge š)
Available in various sizes and shapes, and in black, gold or copper they can go with all decor no matter your colour scheme!
As you can tell, the large Prism and large Ball shape ones are 100% the favourites amongst most of the brides and/or grooms!

I donāt even know where to begin to be honest! This was such an incredible, beautiful and fun wedding set up to be a part of!
To keep in the feels with we kept with classic black and white, lots of foliage and of course, as many as I could realistically throw at the decor š
The black frames I honestly think were my fave. They were so stylish but still had that quirky vibe that I strive to give.
Lots of little hints to their favourite things including Disney and (the table plan was just brilliant!)
Iām kinda sad itās over. I always miss my couples once the day is done and and you hold such a special place in my heart!

There are two big trends for this year apparentlyā¦ grounded arches (so a big floral display on the floor) and broken arches. I have been wanting to make one for a while because I suppose all the ones I have seen are either full of roses or full of babyās breath (another huge trend for this year apparently too!) Never have I seen a succulent one. Soā¦ it need to make one to prove it can be done. But to start, a full foliage one!!! She is gorgeous! She was hard work but my god I want to make one for a wedding! Imagine it with dozens of succulents and airplants? And it Doesnāt just have to be succulents and foliage!
