To be recognised as giving my couples something different and unique, something without boundaries and given them the opportunity to put their love story and passions into their displays, it’s honestly the best job in the world 🌎

I don’t think I will ever get over the epicness that was Christine and Paul’s day at back in May.

Cacti 🌵 and Sharks 🦈 is honestly the best theme i have ever heard of and i was here for it!

All the colour, all the succulents, all the fun! And getting to make a special buttonhole for was the icing on the cake for me!

Another award?
I am in absolute shock and bubbling with joy for my unexpected win at the last night for unique or additional services!

My creations are unconventional. My style is unique. My pieces aren’t for everyone, and to be honest I wouldn’t want them to be.

I am not a florist. I’m a floral designer. What I create is purely from the deep depths of my lunatic brain and sometimes make people wonder if I’m okay 😂

But I honestly would never EVER want to be doing anything else than this. I get to wake up each day and do a job I love, in a business I built with my own two hands from the ground up and get to make pieces for my couples which are fun, quirky and full of passion.

I also want to take a moment to thank Vanessa, Donna, Francesca and Melissa at for all your support, love and the confidence you have given me over the years to really just be me, and show that you don’t have to do things one way for it to work.

And a quick shout to my wonderful husband, my darling rat child, my incredible parents and all my other family and friends who have supported me, offered me shoulders to cry on and vent, given me support in being extra delivery drivers and bigging me up even when I felt the imposter syndrome kick in!

Life isn’t linear and that’s the joy of it, and your wedding isn’t either. Your day shouldn’t have boundaries.

Huge congrats to the other winners of the night! Truly some incredible talent we have in Essex, and I am always so bloody proud to represent Essex and these awards really show off that we are a force to be reckoned with!

Can’t wait to get my grubby little mits on my award 😂

REFLECTION

Now the season is quietening down it’s giving me some time to reflect on the past year and plan for the next.

At the moment I am planning a brand new wedding fair display which will be (partially) revealed next weekend at the at on the Sunday, but the full display will be at their big 2 day event in February.
It’s nice having time to make changes and create plans, but god I’m really missing being in the workshop and getting creative!

I am gobsmacked to be a finalist this year in the under their Unique or Additional Services category!

I honestly feel so lucky and blessed to get the chance to do what I do and show off how weird and wonderful I truly am 😂 so I never take these moments for granted!

And a HUGE congrats to my lovely friend .flowers who is a finalist in the Venue Stylist Category. Jas is an ARTIST when it comes to luxury faux floral design, and deserves this so much ❤️

Something I am not very good at is blowing my own trumpet 🎺 so therefore selling myself I find sometimes a little hard!

So there is no better way to show off what I can do, than letting my previous couples do the hard work for me!

It was hard to pick just 10 testimonials out of the ones I have been so thankful to receive (every single one can be found on my website qnd in the highlights on the insta main page) so this is but a snippet of some of the gorgeous and frankly, the best, people I have had the absolute joy and pleasure to work with.

Like I say, don’t take my word for it…

I personally am a massive fan of their Rosé Pinot Noir, so can highly recommend coming down, making a gorgeous festive wreath for your front door and purchasing a bottle to get you into the Xmas spirit!

It’s finally my FAVE season 🎃 and that means all the cosy warm vibes are coming out to play! One of my fave colours (aside from pink) is terracotta, so this season for me creating autumnal displays is perfection!!!
But why should we keep those gorgeous autumn tones just for this time of year? Orange is making a MASSIVE resurgence with florals for weddings, especially when mixed with pink!

If you know me, you know that I am a MASSIVE crystal lover through and through.
And anytime I get to use them in my displays is a win!
So the option to put them in your bouquets, buttonholes, haircrowns and centrepieces is ALWAYS a massive win for me!

While it’s not something I make a lot of anymore, I still absolutely LOVE being able to offer to any element of your special day.

If you are after that natural, boho aesthetic then adding macrame is that instant flourish added extra to give off that vibe.

I have the most gorgeous backdrop that I hire out, and can make bouquet wraps or hairbands for the bridal party too 😊

Fully aware I’m seriously behind on socials due to a manic week of weddings, there is my little life update!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of providing some small elements to two weddings, both completely different and fun, just why I love my job so much!

Hannah and Ben had created the most amazing cowboy-esque wedding I had ever seen, and I was so proud to finish their cake and provide Hannah with a gorgeous macrame wrap for her bouquet to finish off their decor

Then I also dropped off a bouquet and spray to Lavenham for Alex and Steve’s big day (part 1 anyway, part 2 is today!) which had all the gothic crystal vibes matching their personalities perfectly!

So then today I have two weddings to set up, and then I can finally catch up on my admin 😝
