Teamwork makes the dream work… hello people. A little post from me Alys here. Life is pretty hard at the moment. People aren’t buying plants. I am running 2 shops and have 2 small children. But what I can rely on are my lovely women that work for me. Victoria, Natalie and Charly go above and beyond and I am so fortunate to have them work for me. I pay them a living wage, but I wish I could pay them a bankers wage. They’re all so unique but also bound with (apart from a few other things), a common trait of hard hard work, loyalty and a massive love of plants. Couldn’t do it without you guys. This photo is by of Nat and I watering the other day. Big love to small business owners with dreamy staff- doesn’t it just relieve some of the stress?! 🤪

Learn how to create our very own open terrarium. Using succulents you will spend an hour and a half mixing the perfect soil, carefully planting your chosen plants and decorating a gorgeous 29cm round husk bowl made from recycled agricultural waste.

We have a huge selection of fantastic varied decorative materials. From bark to gravel, from sand to moss. Your open terrarium will be totally unique.

Alys and the team at Between Two Thorns (Victoria you are an icon) made 3 giant foliage wreaths, a stunning foliage arch, 11 bouquets of fragrant blowsy peonies for myself and my 10 bridesmaids, filled 95 pud vases, provided over 25 giant plants and SO MUCH MORE!
