This day is to bring awareness to the industry, aimed at celebrating and promoting the remarkable contributions of the floral industry and the talented individuals who work within it.

This is not just for the Florists but it's also for the wholesalers, floral assistants, students, delivery drivers, event specialists, designers, bloggers, teachers and anyone who works within this industry.

Flowers From The Farm saw flower growers from across the country open their flower farms to the public 🌺🏵🌻

I've been lucky to visit two flower farms local to me, Organic Blooms and Wildzinniabristol over the last two days 🐝🌸

To have the option to buy locally grown flowers, curated and nurtured with love and grown organically is so exciting! From field to vase within a short space of time; no air miles; less impact on our fragile world 🫶🌍🫶

I had a really lovely day yesterday with some fellow florists visiting two flower growers, one in Bath and one near Wells.

The flowers were absolutely stunning 😍 🏵🌸 So much love, time and care goes into producing such gorgeous blooms🪻

A little bit about the florist behind the name...

Hi everyone ☺️ Thank you for finding and following my page.

For those who don't know me, I'm Ange. I have always enjoyed seeing flowers arranged nicely, but didn't find a real interest in doing this myself until two years ago. This was despite watching my mum arrange flowers in church regularly from when I was very young.

Like many of us, during and after the intensity of covid years, I looked around for new interests and things to bring me joy. I came across a short one-morning-a-week course at Bath College learning simple floristry techniques and I was hooked! I then did a 3 day course at the Bath Flower School where my love for locally grown flowers and a relaxed style of arranging was nurtured. Last year I did another short course, this time at City of Bristol College, which inspired me to sign up for the year-long City and Guilds qualification which I recently completed with flying colours ✨️

I'm now known as the 'crazy flower lady' by my family 🙈 and get questioned regularly about why there is a 'jungle' in the lounge! I love having flowers in the house and feel lost when I'm not surrounded by them or arranging them.

I've been privileged to make up hand tied bouquets and arrangements by request on many special occasions over the last couple of years and hope that you might find a SEASON IN TIME where I can arrange something for you 💖🏵
