On the last day of winter, we can't help but reminisce about the last wedding of 2023 - Emily and Rohit! 💍🔔

This incredible couple entrusted us with creating their dream winter wonderland, complete with two beautiful ceremonies. From the energy of the live drummers to the smiles that could light up a snowy night, it was a celebration bursting with love and joy!

Reminiscing on E&G's Spring wedding last year✨ We were absolutely delighted to receive such heartwarming feedback from our lovely couple, and we just had to share it alongside more photos such as the exquisite floral arrangements that adorned every corner, including the stunning pillar facing the serene stream tower - nothing was missed thanks to . The harpist that serenaded the ceremony and drinks reception was serene and every detail of this wedding was simply perfect. And when the evening rolled in, took the stage, igniting the dance floor and keeping the party going all night long! 💃🎶

🌿✨ Step aside Sherlock!

We have a secret. 🤫 within the historic walls of Goldney House lies a hidden treasure – The Garden Room, this ceremony room has been out of use for years, but after speaking to L&J we took a chance and showed them the space - and my didn't it pay off? Step aside Sherlock - L&J's wedding transformed our Garden room into what looked like a Victorian (or Georgian) wedding. Their wedding really captured an air of timeless beauty.

The room was decorated with delicate origami sparrows, a gift from a lovely guest, carrying the essence of a Japanese adage. 'Fold a thousand sparrows, and you'll have honour, good fortune, loyalty, and longevity.' 🕊️ Each fold spoke volumes, echoing the depth of commitment and the promise of a lasting love story.

Here's to the magic of hidden spaces and the stories they hold! On behalf of all of us at Goldney House L&J we wish you honour, good fortune, loyalty & longevity!🥂💖

On Thursday evening we attended the Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards. We are absolutely delighted to share that we came away with the bronze award for ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’ 🏆!

It is really amazing to receive such a prestigious award which recognises our teams hard work and passion for everything weddings! We love playing a part in couples special days, making their visions come to reality and supporting them all the way through the process. We LOVE weddings!

July marked a milestone at Goldney as we hosted our very first grotto wedding! We couldn't be more honoured that this incredible couple chose us to be part of their special day. 🌟 From the moment the sun began to cast its warm glow on our picturesque venue, to the heartfelt vows exchanged in the midst of nature's beauty, it was a day filled with pure magic.

The weather played its part perfectly, showering blessings on the occasion, making every moment even more memorable. We are immensely grateful to have been entrusted with the responsibility of curating a day that will forever be etched in their hearts. 💖
