Levi was back in the studio today to celebrate his 3rd birthday with a Cake Smash! I absolutely love doing Cake Smash shoots for older children, they love it and really make a mess!

I had the adorable baby Legend in the studio this morning for his newborn shoot. His Dad insisted on wearing multiple pairs of sunglasses to their maternity shoot and his Mum and I joked that we should get baby some sunglasses for his newborn shoot... so off to Build A Bear I went 😆

I had sweet baby Oscar in the studio this morning for his newborn shoot. He was such an angel and slept so well for the whole shoot!
So many parents worry about whether their baby will settle for the photo shoot and it's never an issue!

Baby Lara was in the studio this morning for July's Rainbow Baby Shoot.

A “Rainbow baby” is a baby that has been born into a family following a loss experienced through miscarriage, still birth, premature birth or infant loss.
A Rainbow baby is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow follows a storm. When a rainbow appears it does not mean that the storm had never happened or that the family is not still grieving. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light and colour can appear amongst all of the darkness and clouds.
Kamara Photography offers one free wrapped newborn mini shoot to one family per month, who have experienced a miscarriage or infant loss.
These shoots are offered on a first come, first served basis so it may not be possible to offer this shoot to everyone that applies.
You'll be asked to fill in the application form below and Kimberley from Kamara Photography will be in touch with you.

Can we normalise "one and done"?

I'm sure there are several parents on my page that will appreciate raising awareness about having only one child and it being accepted.

I've always been very open about the fact that I only plan on having one child and I'm very content with this decision. However, other people - specifically those close to me refuse to accept my choice.
I always hear "I'm sure you'll change your mind" ... "don't you think that's a bit unfair on your child?" ... "I think he needs a sibling" ... or simply, "when are you having the next one?"
I'm never asked "IF" I'll have more children, but "WHEN". Why in today's society is it still not considered acceptable to have only one child?

I don't know about you, but I always feel like I need to justify myself? And at the end of the day it's our decision and it should be accepted.

I had the gorgeous baby Sonny in the studio on Monday for his Rainbow Baby shoot.

His parents have setup an amazing charity called Albies Imprint to give families that have lost a baby through stillbirth, a casting of their baby's hands and feet, with the help of Bristol Body Castings.

So I planned a trip to Germany at the wrong time - no, I am not going for the football 🙈 my cousin gets married on Friday so my family are flying back to Germany for the celebration, we've decided to stay a little bit longer and make it our family summer holiday.
