This is a captivating, educational and unique hands-on workshop for everybody. Each roadshow is tailored to enable all age groups to interact with these top predators in the Animal Kingdom. I'm Jos Leggett and my love and passion for exotic biodiversity started as an inquisitive four year old, I was fascinated by nature and looked at books of impressive creatures in dynamic surroundings before bed
time. Since then I have become certified in Animal Management, obtain a BSc Hons in Environmental Science, specifically Integrated Wildlife Conservation, and have spent time living in the remote tropics. Becoming a successful (in-situ) conservationist is difficult and challenging due to lack of funds or volunteering and increased competition for resources. Not being able to do "your own bit for nature" can add frustration to the often gloomy subject of loss of biodiversity. So, here is my alternative way of doing "my bit for nature" I have been a keen herpetologist for years and think reptiles are "gems of the earth" Captive bred (ex-situ) conservation can create publicity, education and awareness. The tailored session I am offering is an introduction to the fabulous, freakish and fascinating world of cold blooded creatures.
