Some bright florals to celebrate national rainforest day with you! 🌧🌴

Might be stating the obvious here, but owning a flower shop means I am around nature a lot, so I experience the difference nature makes to our world everyday firsthand.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yet, sometimes it feels like the rest of the world didn't get the memo...every second, we lose one and a half hectares of our rainforests. Yes, EVERY SECOND. 😢
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Rainforests are so important for our planet, they are home to an endless number of animals, they help keep our air clean, they provide us with fresh water and yet we get rid of them with no second thought whatsoever.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes I feel like it can leave us feeling a little bit helpless when we read about these things because it's like, what can I actually do? It feels like it is so out of reach for me to help. Well if you feel like that's you too, I have put together a little list of a few things you can do to help:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Post about it on your social media to raise awareness! 📱
- Find registered charities and sponsor the planting of a new tree 🌲
- Only buy what you will eat and minimise food waste as much as possible (it's incredible how much money you'll save too!) 🤑

Remember, it is always the small steps that we take that leads to big change ♥
