The Warren is a members club for the Metropolitan Police Service and their families with full bar and restaurant facilities, sports facilities, a gymnasium and large children's play area. This stunning venue was built in 1882 by the Dutch banker, Walter Maximilian de Zoete and is also available to hire for weddings and events for 200+ guests.

In partnership with Access Sport, Need2Change and Livability Nash College, we hosted the first of 10 Walking Football sessions for the SEND students of NASH College.

Access Sport's mission is to increase inclusion in community sport, tackling the access barriers disadvantaged, disabled and young people face.

Walking football is one of two new activities to be held here at The Warren, funded predominantly through an Access Sport grant.

Alongside promoting the accessibility of community sport, this project provides the opportunity for an increased police understanding of SEND.

It was a pleasure to host such an amazing project, and we owe a huge thank you to Access Sport, Need2Change and Coach Mike Barrett and for brining this together, alongside Constable Yates for his involvement on the day!

Our Story

Welcome to The Warren, a large country house built in 1882 and standing in 22 acres of lovely grounds consisting of playing fields, quiet gardens and woodlands. The function suites and restaurant are available and ideal for weddings and corporate use. Additionally members’ are able to hire privately, subject to certain conditions. With the added bonus of five venues onsite, we are able to cater for a variety of events: weddings, parties, exhibitions, dinner dances, conferences and team building exercises.

The venue is also licensed for civil ceremonies with excellent facilities for wedding receptions. It is without doubt one of the best venues in Kent.
