Has anyone seen the new Banksy style Dorothy mural that appeared in Birmingham Kent Street? (I’ll post it in my stories)
It made me think of this Bansky cake I made all the way back in 2015 as my first entry to Cake international where I won a Silver medal for it.
I was so proud I got it to the table because in my car driving there on my own I cried, because I didn’t think I was good enough to be going there. I made so many industry friends that year who have supported me and my business ever since 🥰
I’ve always been inspired by the art world and love translating it into cake form.

No point to this post other than me reminiscing 😂

Back home after a very lovely day .

Also met some very lovely and talented suppliers I’ve never displayed with before.
I loved everyone trying my new apple and cinnamon cake and the discussions it caused.
My Summer Kiss was as popular as ever 🫶

Hi Everyone! Thank you to everyone who’s been in touch considering me for your wedding cake supplier.
I’m so bad at socials I thought it best update you on my upcoming shows and do a little intro for my new followers (not sure how you find me to be honest. I am hopeless at this🙈)
2024 is nearly fully booked with only a few spaces available in October, November and December. I know 2025 feels along way away but I do get booked up quickly as I only work with one couple a week.
I do not aim to be the biggest cake company, but I do aim to be a high quality cake company.

I can’t promise what colour my hair will be but it’s normally bright. I’m a colourful lady who loves wearing black 😂
When I’m not in my kitchen creating you’ll find me out in nature. Water is my calm peaceful time and I love nothing more than being on it or in it. Or I’m out walking with my adorable dog Wicket (yes named after the Ewok cos I’m a nerd and proud of that) There is always music on and I love live events and festivals.
I look after myself with daily yoga and walks (I feel that’s important to know I look after myself so I can show up for you)
I’m also a huge AFOL (adult fan of Lego) and find it very good for mindfulness
I’m inspired by nature, textures, colour and art. I studied art and design at college and have carried that with me throughout my life. I’m not great at sitting still and my brain doesn’t really shut off for ideas running through it!

I know I’m behind in sharing this year, but yesterday I got to set up and deliver this stunner for the lady I named Queen of weddings. Our Lucy of @lucyalexanderbridal The stunning flowers from @bespokecreations were what this cake was all about and Lucy trusted me that the emerald green icing was the way to go. To make them the star feature. And I’m in love with it. I also got to attend the evening reception to celebrate with them. I’m a very lucky lady. And @standonhall was just the perfect venue and set up for this.
