I know I’m behind in sharing this year, but yesterday I got to set up and deliver this stunner for the lady I named Queen of weddings. Our Lucy of @lucyalexanderbridal The stunning flowers from @bespokecreations were what this cake was all about and Lucy trusted me that the emerald green icing was the way to go. To make them the star feature. And I’m in love with it. I also got to attend the evening reception to celebrate with them. I’m a very lucky lady. And @standonhall was just the perfect venue and set up for this. As promised a little video of how I handle the seam. This is a little awkward around the camera on a tripod I’m afraid but I hope it helps those that expressed wanting some help with this. I promise this is much easier when not trying to do it an an angle for a camera 🙈😂 If anything is unclear please drop me questions. Always happy to help 😊 This was an 8” x 10” tall dummy tier for a new display cake for a photoshoot and upcoming wedding shows but real tiers are handled in the same way. I use The Sugar Paste because firmer pastes seam better for me but try what you’re used to and go from there. A sheeter is a game changer - I hear so many cake businesses say they can’t afford one. Please price your products to allow investment in your business growth 🙏 This is a given in any other industry. I love to be out in nature so love to go paddle boarding, walking, zip lining, snorkelling, water rafting, exploring… if it’s an adventure I want in.
