What a weekend!! Over 3500 people attended our Bury St Edmunds Round Table Coronation Celebration on Sunday.
A huge thank you to everyone, not just those of you who attended, but also to the superb volunteers who helped make this whole event happen. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and yesterday there have been people helping bring our event together to make sure we could put it on for free in support of celebrating the Coronation of the new King.
From our original ideas and the many meetings to fine tune them, to tirelessly placing out all the barriers in the persistent rain and setting up all day on Saturday and Sunday, as volunteers ourselves we understand what it’s like to give up time to create something enjoyable for others to appreciate.
We would very much like to thank Bury St Edmunds TownCouncil for the incredible support with this and we look forward to working with them again sometime.
A huge thanks and round of applause to St Edmundsbury Theatre Services for all the staging, power and all other moments of magic they create.
To Stagecoach Performing Arts Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket for their wonderful performances of their upcoming Shrek Musical, as well as the amazing Swing Sisters for their energy, razzle dazzle and their incredible voices. Extra thanks to the superbly talented Eydis for stepping up on stage unexpectedly to save the day with the final act and utterly amaze everyone with your powerfully beautiful voice.
Thank you to all the cadets and charities involved, the stewards, marshals, medics and more; thank you for keeping going throughout the day and we hope you enjoyed it all as much as we did.
