New Music and Music Commissioning

How much do you think it costs to commission a new piece of music? We did a survey last year in the run up to the Arcomis International Brass Event. If you didn't fill it out then please take a look now - we'll publish the results soon!

Arcomis is an organisation based in Cardiff that promotes new music and composers. We are the organisation behind the Arcomis International Brass Event being held in Cardiff in October (10-13) and we would like to ask you a few questions about your interest in music.

What are the best ways to fundraise for a small arts organisation?

We've been lucky in the past having received support from the Arts Council of Wales but don't currently have any financial support from them. We're lucky to have a grant from the Welsh Government for the 2015 Event but we're looking to grow our music commissioning and publishing activities.

Any ideas?!?
