Canada Lodge and Lake is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Chef to join our team. As an Assistant Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about culinary arts, looking to grow their career in the restaurant industry.

Duties:
- Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation and production
- Help with menu planning and recipe development
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create a positive work environment

Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferable but not essential
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

What a wonderful day🌿💍

A huge thank you to My Wonderful Welsh Wedding - Home of the Wedding Guild of Wales for organising such a great wedding fayre!🙌✨

Wow, what a fabulous day we had at the gorgeous Canada Lodge and Lake !

And apart from a 5 minute light shower, the weather was ideal for a wander around the stunning grounds.

The turn out was amazing, thank you to all the couples who took time to join us with their friends and families. We had some lovely comments and we hope you all enjoyed.
The winner of the prize draw posted shortly.

Our selected suppliers as always did us proud. Some even getting new display kit to fit the spaces we had today.
Amazing, professional businesses, and it showed!

And a massive thank you goes to the wonderful team at Canada Lodge. They were great to work with, nothing was too much trouble, they were a fantastic support to us.
