Flying the knot wedding Owls

Work on the garden pond was halted due to Spirit wanting a bath in it!

Even owls have fun on their day off!

Whilst this is not brilliant quality footage (taken from my iphone), it shows a pair of swallows protecting their 4 chicks which were in a nest inside the church vestibule. In the background you hear the choir, who are singing so beautifully and can see mother and father swallow zipping though the air - wonderful!

We arrived home today to find these two nibbling each other.....

Now they are quite happy standing on two feet for quite some time - they are even beginning to explore...
