I love how this installation compliments the beautiful stonework of and creates a gorgeous soft romantic backdrop to the ceremony space.

Adding flowers to the ceremony space is one of our favourite things to do, whether this is floral pillars like we created for this wedding, overflowing urns of flowers or whimsical meadows lining the aisle they all add to the romantic feel of this very special moment.

When we’re designing your wedding flowers we always take into account the venue so your flowers compliment and work with the venue rather than over powering the space. Sometimes floral pillars would be too large and over powering for a space but delicate meadow placements would be perfect, in this case however the large pillars complement the beautiful (but rather tall!!) archway at Coombe Lodge.

I love working with seasonal flowers when designing flowers for weddings and events. This wedding was full of the best seasonal flowers, including Ranunculus, Lilac, Blue Bells, Foxgloves and Geum, to name just a few. Who says you can’t go for rich colours in spring? I love this mix of dark Hellebores, ranunculus and blossom. The dark centres of this wild cherry blossom links perfectly with the darker tones of the other flowers in the design.

When people think of daffodils the bright yellow varieties are the ones that always come to mind, but aren’t these ivory ones just stunning. I brought a whole tray of them last year for an event and then planted them in the garden after. I’ve loved seeing them come up again, they start with a pale yellow trumpet which gets paler the longer they are open.

Whites and greens look gorgeous in any season, this spring bowl arrangement includes a mix of blousy ranunculus, beautifully scented lilac, dainty alliums, and perfect ivory narcissus. Mixed with tall taper candles in brass candlesticks and lots of tea lights this makes the perfect table centre for a spring wedding.

Floral Pillars make the most amazing backdrop for your ceremony. Here the pillars were placed infront of the rustic barn doors at and then moved to go behind the top table after the ceremony. The perfect way to reuse your flowers. In the evening the pillars can even be used as a sophisticated floral Photo Booth!
