Bonnie Blooms: where does it come from...

Bonnie Blooms was born off the back of our Granny / Granddaughter bond and a love of florals so it was only right that the brand reflected us.

Our name comes from our Scottish roots and the line-detail in our logo is a Poppy; Granny’s favourite flower and my birth-month flower.

Our brand means a lot and I’m so proud of it.

Thanks to my creative genius friend .andco for making the vision a reality 🫶🏼

⇢ £45 all the trimmings (berries, fruit etc - all natural, no plastic stuff over here)

Each is then finished with lovely trailing ribbon so it’s ready to adorn your front door from the minute you receive it.

I’ve had a few new followers on here recently (🤭) so thought I would introduce myself for those that don’t know me…

↟ This is me…Amy

• Business owner / Marketing geek / dog mom / explorer / scran lover

• I run BB HQ and everything that comes with it - consultations, ordering, proposals, mood boards, planning, flowering (sometimes with the help of amazing freelancers/fam/friends)

• I recently moved near Newcastle/Durham with my 3 BFF’s 🙋🏽‍♂️🐶🐶

• I work full-time in marketing and run BB alongside which I love - it gives me the ideal mix of corporate vs creative. It can be tiring but the sense of pride and achievement far outweighs the eye-bags.

• I LOVE weddings and flowers and growing up in Granny’s garden (not literally) has led me here… I still can’t get over that some of you want me to flower your big day! 🥰

• I will get waaaay too excited if you want your wedding to be filled with colour, frills and foliage so be warned (x100 if you ask me to make a floral dog collar for your four-legged friends!!)

• I’m currently working on 2024 proposals and 2025 consultations - some neutral, some brights, some wild, some petit and there are some stunning venues to dress

Some of you might know that I've relocated (eeek) to Shotley Bridge, near Newcastle/Durham and I am working to extend my client base local to there. I'm so excited for what's to come - new clients, new venues, new opportunities and new ventures.

HOWEVER >> I am still keeping my workspace in Dumfries and Galloway so I can still offer services in the areas across SW Scotland and Cumbria that I've grown to know and love since starting up.

♡ Just me, my new pinny and my new logo in my favourite place…

A few new faces on here means a wee intro… I’m Amy and the face behind the wedding flowers. Bonnie Blooms is the brain-child of me and my Granny and I love having her a part of my journey. Our new branding is a reflection of us, detailing a quirky new font and the line detail of a Poppy because it’s Granny’s favourite flower.

I’m currently working with my couples of 2023 to perfect the final details of their wedding blooms and building mood boards and quotes for my 2024 clients. I only take on a limited number of bookings each year and I treat my clients like my friends. Building a trusting relationship is really important to me and I love working with you to make your wedding visions a reality!
