So proud of our performers who took part in Gotta Dance 2021 at The Albany Theatre. Professionalism from start to finish. Two beautiful pieces created by Miss Amanda and Miss Suzanne that were performed with focus and enjoyment from everyone on stage. Congratulations all.

Huge congratulations and thanks to Miss Jess and her Adult & Senior Tappers who danced today in the Children in Need Tapathon raising much needed funds for this excellent charity whilst also attempting a world record for the largest number of tap dancers simultaneously dancing. We'll done all of you. Very proud!

Gotta Dance performers should arrive at The Albany Theatre in their costume next Wednesday at 5.15. We are very excited to be performing on stage again. There are very limited tickets still available if you wish to come and support the local dancers performing. Start time is 7.00pm and finishes at 9.20pm.

Exciting news for Post 16 graduate Jessie Ellis-Jones who has secured a contract with Educo Italia starting in the new year. Jessie will be part of a touring performance company that teaches English through Drama & Musical Theatre workshops to Italian children. We are very excited for this amazing opportunity that she has worked so hard to secure.

Our Post 16 Open Day takes place next week, Tues 23 Nov and we are looking forward to welcoming current Y11 students who are looking to study Performing Arts from September 2022 in The Midlands, from 8.45 - 12.00.
An exciting morning of classes taken by West End performers & IDTA examiners are planned: Sophie Feek (Les Mis), James Gant (Phantom) & Michelle Upton (Fellow / Examiner IDTA).
We have limited spaces still available for this event that will give students a taste of what Pattisons has to offer.

A great Senior class concluded a wonderful morning of Hairspray workshops. Everyone worked hard and had great fun. It was lovely to welcome Georgia back. We look forward to seeing her at The Hippodrome panto this Christmas.

Pattisons : A personal approach to performance.

Situated on a leafy side road in the middle of Stoke Green, is a dance & drama school like no other in the Midlands. Here in the 1920s Mr Thomas Pattison established the first dance classes at Pattisons, since then, his daughter Betty and now his granddaughter, Elizabeth McConnell, leads one of the oldest established theatre schools in the Midlands, that can boast of former pupils who have made noteworthy careers on both stage and screen.

Nearly 100 years on and Pattisons continues to offer a wide variety of lessons for all ages, from Pre-school “Dinky Dots ” music & movement classes through to advanced level professional performance lessons. Our vocational staff are a hard working and dedicated team who constantly inspire pupils to be the best that they can be.

We are a registered centre for LAMDA, IDTA and LCM examinations with a 100% pass rate. At Pattisons we give children of all ages the opportunity to develop their skills and monitor their progress through a wide variety of award options via examination sessions as well as performance opportunities via festivals, school showcases at regional professional theatres and even trips to perform on the West End stage!

Starting out or experienced dancer, Pattisons have something for anyone who wants a personal approach to performing.
