This is why we do what we do, I can honestly say hand on heart what an awesome bunch of guys Red Spektor are, so humble but oh soooo talented, I've had Red Spektor on the radar for some time as I'm a bit of a desert stoner/sludge fan and finally talked them in to playing for Strange Crewe at Tom's Tap and Brewhouse Ltd and much to my excitement they agreed, but to be honest they didn't take much convincing, Tom's Tap is rapidly becoming the go to for live music in Crewe, such a flexible space and accommodating staff, A relatively small space on the grand scheme of things pulling off some pretty epic gigs as the photo's below will show, Red Spektor have to be one of the friendliest unassuming bunch of guys I've had the pleasure to work with, a very quick sound check and we were off, the lighting setup we went for was a nice simple one and the sound was supplied by our LD rig complemented with a Yamaha sub, all in all one of the highlights of the year so far and in all honesty I can say they blew everyone away, it's such a nice feeling to be able to bring bands like this to Crewe.

For All The Emptiness at Tom's Tap and Brewhouse Ltd, A nice simple setup with a very effective look and feel to it, The G28's performing amazingly too, nice and crisp sound in what is actually quite a challenging shaped building, obviously phone cameras dont really do it justice but yeah, quite happy with that
