It’s very mixed feelings following the PM’s announcements yesterday. Fabulous news that guests’ numbers can increase, but very disappointing at the prospect of still so many restrictions - particularly the “advisory against” indoor dancing. 😔

For all of you who have booked my services for Weddings & Events between 21st June - 18th July, I will be contacting you all in date order just as soon as I possibly can. In fact some of you I’ve reached out to already.

As a DJ with over 20 years experience of filling dance floors, this new guidance is a challenge for myself as well as disappointing for yourselves and your special occasions.

But please rest assured, that as a professional I’ll adapt to still give you and your guests a fantastic time. Indeed there are so many things I can offer to still create a great atmosphere and lifelong memories for you all.

We can play silly table games, I can devise music quizzes, sit down karaoke, rock n roll bingo and much more. Rest assured WE WILL DANCE even if it has to be in our blooming seats !! 😅

Following the PM’s announcement of 22nd February 2021, and assuming the data and conditions allow, it looks like wedding ceremonies for :

* up to 6 people can take place from 29th March 2021.

* From 12th April 2021, wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 15 people can take place.

* From 17th May 2021, wedding ceremonies and receptions can take place for up to 30 people.

None of the above allow dancefloors full of people to return.

* However, from 21st June 2021, all restrictions are lifted, and weddings with dancing can return, again this is assuming all data and conditions are met.

I am probably able to help with only background music for your wedding, if it is before 21st June 2021. Check back here in the next few days, I will have a further update once we have received the full guidance.

I am also expecting a few more of my lovely clients to reschedule their imminent weddings, and I am working through my diary and contacting couples.

We’re also, as an industry, waiting for more clarity as to the guidelines and timescales regarding other celebrations and events.

I may not be able to respond immediately to your enquiry, but I will get back to you just as soon as I can.
