The Terrace is situated a couple minutes stroll across the ring road from our sister pub The West Riding. Formally, The Old Turk has attracted and welcomed customers from the more alternative fringes of the region, hosting regular Rock, Metal, Goth and Punk nights. However after an internal refit and installation of a large covered outside terrace it is now a live events & private hire venue for a

ny event. Inside there is a capacity of 100 with a further 50 seats outside on the covered back terrace. With a full stage set up The Terrace is capable of being used for any music, speaking, performance or comedy event as well as a large screen projector for sporting or presentation needs. Available for any event from parties to filming, band practise to works events. With a great drinks selection The Terrace is an ideal venue for you to enjoy our live events or to book for your own use.

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT #5 the awesome Ryan Spendlove is lined up for our charity do in aid of Help Musicians 16th November. He smashed it a few weeks ago at BluesburyFestival

"Ryan Spendlove has performed in bands since the age of 18. Notably he formed the band The Blueskins. He has joined several established artists on tour dates: Andy McKee and Ewan Dobson. In 2011, his début solo 12 track album, Fable, was released. Spendlove recorded all the tracks in three days in a live studio setting during the sessions in Chicago and Milwaukee. In 2012 his follow up, In Another World, was released again on the CandyRat Records label."

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT #3: the Two Days Later lads are playing our Help Musicians benefit gig on the 16th November! “Two Days Later are a young alternative rock band from the Wakefield area. Their set includes a range of covers from Elvis Presley, to McFly and even AC/DC along with loads of original songs crafted since they came together in 2022. Over the past few years they have played gigs all across West Yorkshire. Their ambition and enthusiasm is highlighted throughout their performances and there’s never a dull moment when they are up on the stage. So, we asked the question - do you want to celebrate Christmas with a smaller group but don't want to get lost in the numbers of a huge event venue? It seems you do!

We have, therefore, created the ultimate party for small parties - The Terrace Christmas Party Night on 13th December! There will be up to 50 people in total, made up of smaller groups.

We'll throw in a glass of fizz, your first round of drinks, a cheese and meat board, plus live music and a DJ and all for £15 per person.
