Such sad news today about the passing of Liam Payne. A local lad, a son, a brother, a dad. Thinking of his family at this difficult time, I hope they get space to grieve.
Every day I meet families devastated by the sudden loss of loved ones, it is so hard. I think Donna Ashworth’s words strike a chord. Always speak your love , we can never take anything for granted ❤️

The NHS Organ Donor register is 30 years old. This week 23-27th September is organ donation week. Whilst none of us like to think about these things it takes 2 minutes to register your organ donation decision and every donor can save up to nine lives.
More than 7600 people are in need of a transplant and whilst around 1400 people donate the waiting list continues to grow. Do something amazing 💕

What a fantastic location for yesterday’s wedding ceremony! The sun was shining as the vows and rings were exchanged, with plenty of time for photographs before that storm arrived. Absolute pleasure to be involved. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Williams 🥂❤️

So today was a momentous day for me. Wow, what a journey it has been. My job is such a big part of my life, I’ve never worked so hard and at times it is gut wrenching, heartbreaking and sad. At other times it is uplifting, incredible, inspiring and makes me smile. The one thing I do know is that I wouldn’t change a thing.
I get to work with the most incredible people, I meet people from all different walks of life and I really value life. To you I am forever grateful.
Thank you to everyone who has played a part in my journey so far and long may it continue.

The art of letter writing is something beautiful which we don’t do very often in this modern world.
I remember in my younger years having a pen pal in America who sent me some wonderful letters telling me all about life as a young American. When I went to University the daily routine was to queue to see if you had a letter in your pigeon hole from a friend or relative. It was the highlight of the day!
I was therefore so pleased to receive this letter recently sent to my home via the Funeral Director . One of the loveliest letters I have ever received 💕

Thank you to every person I have worked alongside this year, from grieving families to funeral directors, arrangers and Crematorium staff. I class myself as very lucky to work in this industry and meet so many amazing people.
I am going to take some time off with my family over the festive period. Wishing everyone a relaxing Christmas and a healthy New Year.
For those who have lost someone this year be gentle with yourself and let your grief be what it needs to be.
