Heya, just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who came out on Friday night.
It seemed like everybody had a good time and that includes us in the kitchen and serving who I have to say a massive thank you too, it was a lot of fun.😁
I hope you all really enjoyed it and for those that couldn't make it this time.....soooon😉
Managed to take some photos this time but only really after the main rush.
Thanks again to Beerarama for Hosting us...thank you Jamie and John 🤗, amazing venue and amazing people.

Tonight my wife and I are going out to celebrate 18 amazing years by visiting one of the culinary jewels of Eastbourne. Can't wait.
I know I haven't posted for a while but I am limbering up my fingers as....news is coming....Soon!!

This charity does amazing work, giving advice and help to people to help them get through tough times and times that can be tough .
When you are enjoying your dinner over this time give an extra thought to the people serving and cooking for you and that they are with you rather than with their families.
An extra moment of patience or a smile goes a long way believe me.
Have an amazing Christmas and remember...look after yourselves and eachother.x

Hey everyone, still buzzing from that amazing evening where so many of you came out to share in a really cool evening.
Already started to plan how the next one is going to go and I think that this time we may just do bookings for tables for slots in the evening as a whole. Last time the orders got a little to concentrated in a couple of hours so I think next time the bookings will be a bit more spread out. Once again though a Massive thank you to Jamie and John for hosting us at Beerama ( I hope you have been back again for another visit) and they seemed to have enjoyed their night with all of you guys so much that we are definitely going to do another night together soon. Keep your eyes peeled for notices.

Heya, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who came in on Friday night. For the first one it went pretty well..... It went ok🤫, and everybody seemed to have a good time, I just wished I could have spent a bit more time out there with all of you. The vibe felt super cool and the love was definitely being felt in the kitchen from all of you and on that note I want to thank my ragtag team who made it all possible, Bo, my nephew who thought how lovely you all were and kept on saying how nice my customers all are( I know) and really enjoyed himself and was a superstar, Tariq who helped run the orders and ended up taking control of the orders( although he's never done it before) and was an absolute diamond, and my wife Emma who was, as usual, amazing and stepped in at the last minute to help out and was invaluable and the best.
I have definitely taken and learnt some lessons from Friday and I think the thing we needed to fix was the ordering as we were taking in to many and you guys were waiting to long but you know what....Heard and Learnt.
Already know what needs to be done to improve that for next time because you know what ...oh yes, we are going to do this again but better. We all had a blast in the kitchen and it seems like you guys enjoyed the night so you know it has to be done!🤞
Special Thank you to Jamie and John for allowing us to do this in their wonderful place, everybody loved the location at saying how it felt like OurPlace but its grown up version (where you can get a drink😁) and loving the quirky vibe and feel.
I would love some feedback from you guys on how you felt it went and what I can do for next time so leave your comments below (I've always wanted to say that) .
By the way, we were so busy we didn't get any pics just one shaky video so if anyone has any at all stick'em up and tag us in.
Thank you again for supporting what should hopefully be the start of something a bit different, as I will be changing the format slightly everytime I do this, just to keep it interesting for you and for me.
I will come up with a date for the next one soon.... If you guys want me to do it again?

A look at my current emotional states getting ready for tomorrow......💨
Tables are all booked from the start but it looks like a clear night so outside maybe available ( ....but not ideal, I know) but if you fancy coming down and getting a bite or even just having a drink and joining in the party, it would be amazing to see you there.
By the way, anyone who hasn't signed the poster yet , it's going up ready for your Tag Yo!

Heya me Peeps...Book(ings) are open!!

We have had a massive response to the Popup at Beerama and as much as I wanted to keep it free and easy, with the weather the way it is, I think we will do bookings to start off with.
To try and keep it breezy still, bookings will only be taken between 6 and 7:30 (you can stay as long as you want, but no bookings after that) after, just bring your smile, bring your appetite and bring yourselves there's still going to be space to have some fun.
If you want to book a table call Beerama and they book you in.
The one thing that I know about all you guys is that most of you all got to know each other at OurPlace so if there's space on a table ....share the love, share the space😁

Yes! It's Really Happening!!!
Jamie and John, The Amazing People at Beerama are allowing me to share their space for a night to do a Pop up on the 10th November from 6 O'clock.
For those that haven't tried Beerama yet the best way i can describe it is.....Familiar.
It is a lovely, cool and inviting space run by lovely people who love what they do...sound familiar?
They do an immense range of Beers and other drinks meaning you will definetly find something you like and maybe even something you didn't know you would've liked, again, sound familiar.
I am going to keep the menu simple(ish)
Pork Carnita Taco
Double Fried Mango Chicken Wings
Bulgogi Beef Salad
Sweet Potato and Feta Taco
Pork Belly Bao Bun
Middle Eastern Spiced Chicken Taco
along with sides like
Sweet Potato fries
Spiced Corn Ribs
Kimchi Rice
The dishes will be served indiviually so you can order 1 or 6...up to you!
The night should be a lot of fun and they are letting me put on my Playlist so you know the music is gonna be Goood!
but it's only going to be good if you're there so, please save the date
10th November from 6 and lets make a it a big night and then.....who knows for the future?

Hey everyone,
A bit of a random post tonight but I had to just give a little love to Sweetspot on Terminus road next door'ish to one of the best places Soup'n'Tap. Sweetspot do rolled ice cream and my youngest has been asking for me to take her down there to get some and today, I relented. Let's just say she was a bit happy when we all went there and you know what ..the ice cream didn't disappoint (as you can see from the pics) she was a very happy lady. It also helps that the gentleman who runs it is lovely too so now we have a place in town that we can treat the kids and, ahem, doesn't break the bank.
I'm trying out things at home for the evening menu. Check out tomorrow for a sneaky preview of a couple of bits.

Hey everyone,
Just getting everything ready for tomorrows lunch opening.
On the menu is Pulled pork, Middle eastern Spiced Chicken or Roasted Vegetable and Feta Taco.
Special is going to be Half a Je**ed Poussin with spiced Rice and Slaw and for dessert..... something? maybe? don't know yet.

I have been a but busy today getting ready as yesterday was Crazy!!
So for today we have Cajun Spiced Pork belly with Spiced Slaw available in a Bao Bun or in Tacos, upto you.
Anyway I am off to the Physio for half an hour or so but I should be back in time for lunch.... Hopefully.

Hey everyone,
No it's not a Fuzzy Daisy but a batch of Bao buns going through. I didn't go for the Green papaya for the salad, instead I have gone for under ripened Peaches for that tart fruitiness I'm looking for to go in the salad to top the Pork Belly...Pork Belly!! POORK BEEELLLYY;!!....
