I loved being a part of Lee & Dans big day at Edinburgh Zoo in July!

I’ve lived in Edinburgh all my life and visited Edinburgh Zoo many times that it was lovely to see another part of it I had never seen in all those years. Lee & Dan picked pastel colours in a wild and natural style that complimented the venue perfectly 🥰 I’ll certainly never forget the sound of the Zoo waking up during the morning set up just as much as the Lemurs won’t forget us carrying all the equipment past them to the Mansion House! 🥵😃

We couldn’t get our hands on frankincense and myrrh but we did deliver gold yesterday 💫 I love how pampas grass continues to get fluffier the longer it’s displayed 🥰When looked after properly and kept out of humidity, these dried beauties should last up to 5 years 🤩 that’s a lot of fluffiness! 😍🌾

Exciting news! Baubles will be available from Monday! 4 baubles in the colour groups shown. Red and white, orange and pale pink. The baubles are 67mm, shatterproof, tied with a silk ribbon and packed in a pretty gift bag all for £18. They can be delivered locally (EH30) or posted out for a P&P fee.

I posted a few weeks ago about an exciting opportunity that may be coming my way. I was going to be given the chance to create a Flowercloud for the window of a city centre store. Unfortunately in these crazy and uncertain times, big decisions are having to be made to safeguard the future of any business. When it comes to some of these decisions it’s often the creative, visual options that take the hit on budget or are sacrificed completely and I understand why that is. At the moment, I am lucky enough to have another income, which, for now, seems relatively safe. My heart goes out to anyone who doesn’t have that safety net of a second income and are really struggling at this time. I encourage everyone to try and think about the shops and places you love to visit and why. Would you have even gone inside if it wasn’t for the kerb appeal or the window display? Would you have bought those flowers or that candle if you hadn’t been able to smell them? That hand lotion if you couldn’t have tried it? Or that new piece of clothing if you couldn’t have felt how soft it was? Maybe you just like the atmosphere and the welcome you get when you walk in the door. Internet shopping has been a lifeline for many businesses at this time but it’s really not the same....is it?

I really enjoyed creating this floral Halo for Carrie-Lee Bradbury and her new venture, Luv Hair . I based it on the colours of the hair in her new profile picture and added a little bit of sparkle 💫 🌈 Good Luck Carrie!
