Edinburgh at Night!
A good friend suggested putting an Edinburgh at Night book out....
Happy to let you know the project is currently at The 16K Design Works
I must have climbed Arthur's Seat over 30 times to achieve the book images, smashed Leith at night and 15 locations around Edinburgh.
Very happy with the results, I have another exhibition in October coming up, and your all welcome to join me.

It feels great connecting with printers, and new customers.
Many thanks to everyone who have supported my photography projects. Craigrossie Printing in Perth, who printed this image for me. Thanks to Louise and Ross for your help with papers and printing, it was really nice to meet you both.
This image was captured during a full moon, low tide at the iconic Barns Ness Lighthouse, with clouds drawn by moonlight.
Captured many years ago. A truly magical night under the stars.
I am truly grateful for this one sale today, as it takes a lot of planning and preparation to create my night images safely.
At times like this, it reminds me to keep flowing Creatively, and positively.
I am currently working on Edinburgh at Night and also Scotland at Night vol.3, I look forward to exhibiting late October. Gallery.

After 4 hours imaging the Crypt, Mason and Apprentice pillars.
I went to work on the exterior, while the moon set in the West.
Here's a test shot looking North on the Rose-line.
By 5am, I discovered that the moon would never illuminate the inside of the chapel from the West to East during moonlight, due to the church organ being right where the moon should set!
I must admit I was nervous, as soon as I turned the lights off in the chapel to start the session 23.00-05.45
A very intense, and beautiful night.

The objective was to image the interior and exterior during moonlight.
Conditions were perfect!

Saturday's Christmas market at The Out of the Blue Drill Hall
Was amazing!
Really enjoyed meeting some very creative people from all over the world.
I also had the chance to discuss the process for my night images and to explain the research, and physical difficulties to achieve some fantastic results under the darkest skies in Scotland.
Many thanks to everyone who bought Scotland at Night volume 2.
I truly hope you all enjoy reading about my adventures alone in the dark from some very distant and lesser known locations.

Seal pup Rescue at Duncansby Sea stacks. Found this wee pup half submerged in a rock pool, with it's fin/paw trapped between two rocks,very distressed and rescued at 8am. Location: Duncansby sea stacks....Shattered !

Moon walker

Moon walker. Navigating the Lamberton area in Berwickshire for my final shoot on this rugged coastline.Once again many thanks to Owen Macdonald,location scout for the forward RECCE To be honest this location drained the life out of me, but happy to say all targets were completed safely under the light of the moon. Bloody,wet and shattered ! And feeling very positive,keep your heads up people.

Blue Lobster? Hey guy's came across this while navigating my way along the Berwickshire coast during a night shoot.Wondered if it was the rare Blue lobster species.Any help would be humbly appreciated.

Test flight with the Mavic Air 2s

Flight test With the Mavic Air 2s. A Super windy flight around the Dunbar area testing the Air 2s for stability and intelligent flight modes. Three flights later this model overheated and had an onboard fault near the battery compartment, burned out.Managed to land safely and Replaced by DJI within 10 days. Many thanks guy's. Big shout to Steven Christie keyboard wizard for supplying the 70's Fender Rhodes on this fonky track we knocked up a hundred years ago lol.Great to see you again bro.Peace.
