Another amazing day with amazing people, when we welcomed two families. Eeyore wore a special bow tie in honour of Alexis's birthday.

So Gimli had his very first walk last week (which I forgot to post)
We are delighted how quickly he learns. He wanted to be the leader of the herd. Please get in touch if you want to meet him and the rest of the herd.

This was such a blessing to be a part of,
Yesterday, we welcomed Steve, Mary amd their 3 year old lockdown grand daughter Heather.
Heather was very shy and quite a bit nervous of the Alpacas, at first she didn't want to be any closer than the fence line of our paddock where she stood with Mary.
As time went on she came a little closer and stood with Steve and myself just outside the pen, even if it was behind Steve's leg 😃.
As she became a little more brave we decided to halter up our 2 baby alpacas (cria) and bring them on their own to say hi to Heather.. being the small they would feel less scary for her.
Pippin and Gimli recognised how she was feeling and were extremely gentle with her and slowly gained her trust so that she was able to feed them herself.

It truly is remarkable how these animals can sense when people are vulnerable making them perfect for anybody regardless of age or ability ❤️ 💙 💜 💖
