Dramatic House Reading offer!
1 hour spirited performance reading for just 50 pounds.
What?
Offer lasts for just 24 hours from 4pm today Sunday 21st July until Monday 22nd 4pm. PM me if you are interested but be quick!

Suggestions for running this exciting and very cool house event.
1. Charge a little for a ticket and include tea and biscuits in the price.
2 . Free entry but charge for cake and tea.
3. Charge for everything and hand it to charity after costs or keep it.
4. Make it all free...you nutter.
5. Send a snazzy invite to friends and friends of friends and family and family friends but not squirrels. I don't trust squirrels nor should you.
6. Book a reading as an after dinner birthday treat for a bookish friend. It only lasts an hour and let's face it...no one does this so its pretty original and mad!
7. Dress up. Dress the set. Live in the moment.Play appropriate music.
8. If you are an artist and it ties into the theme. Set up and flog your wares!
9. Stories are classic scifi or ghost based. But any short story is considered.
10. I can help. PM me for any more advice.

This is not a spirit reading. It is a spirited reading event...

24 hours...
And go!

Who would like a house gig dramatic reading?
Like a music gig but all actory.

You would host and help sell tickets.

You could sell cakes and tea for yourselves or for charity.

You might even want to dress the set (your chosen room)

No classic short story performance lasts more than an hour.

PM me if interested.

A few bookshops around Exeter are interested in putting on my Charles Dickens readings (with musical saw sound FX) in the near future (April) of the Signalman . Other future readings will be coming including War of the Worlds (with Theremin) - (Summer).
These are energetic performance readings not memorised performances.

If you would like a variation of these classic stories and much more I highly recommend Don't Go Into The Cellar's incredible one man shows with Jonathan's version of War of the Worlds coming to the Cygnet theatre shortly.

It was sold out! The audience seem to enjoy the atmospheric reading of The Signalman and no one fell asleep.

The Saw was for atmosphere and you can see my reaction to the sound I created of twisting metal.
Terrifying!
No sign of the Bookshop ghost though.

There will be another performance next Monday 26th at Topsham Bookshop with biscuits and beverages.
Do contact Lily for tickets or reserving your space.
