Baby Namings by Fuze Ceremonies Expecting a new addition to the family? Why not choose to celebrate with a baby naming ceremony? We can assist by advising you on how to create the right mood.

Maybe you have been searching for a non-religious christening to welcome your new baby. Our team of professional Officiants have many years' experience in delivering this type of ceremony and are delighted to meet you and help you celebrate in the way you want. We will come and meet you, get to know you and design a beautiful ceremony that will encapsulate who you are and what you stand for. We wi

ll write the Babynaming Ceremony script for you, conduct it on the big day and assist with any other components, such as the choreography. We can also help you choose poetry and symbolic gestures that will formally bind you together as a family unit. Some families opt for a very traditional and formal affair, whilst some prefer a more light-hearted approach and might need help raising a few laughs on the day. You might like our Officiant to take the lead and deliver the entire Babynaming Ceremony, or you may wish to have a speaking role yourself. Many families welcoming older children involve them in the Child Welcoming Ceremony too. It's the perfect opportunity for extended families to gather together and celebrate all of the things that epitomize their identity. We can also provide the Babynaming Certificate or Family Certificate, or you may have chosen your own already. We can provide suitable poetry, or are happy to include verses that you've already chosen. You have freedom over the content of your Babynaming Ceremony, and we take pride in being able to accomodate all reasonable wishes. We understand that peace of mind is important. That's why our team have passed Disclosure checks and are fully trained, qualified, insured and licensed. Have a great Babynaming!

It was definitely 3rd time lucky for our Fuze Foundation Chair, Morag Webster as she completed her tandem skydive on Saturday the 24th of February 2024 for Alzheimer Scotland. The pictures tell the story as Morag, alongside her good friend Claire - fundraising Cancer Research UK -took the plunge.

A HUGE thanks to everyone for all your support. Morag told us: "I'm glad to be back on the ground, but can 100% see why people want to do this over and over again, but I think I will leave that to them."

You can still donate to Morag's fundraising by using this link>>

Humanists around the world celebrate World Humanist Day every year on the 21st June. Humanists aim to be guided by reason, inspired by compassion and informed by experience, and an occasion for Humanists to promote the values they hold.

It is also the day of the June solstice, a day symbolised by gatherings, which is what a baby naming ceremony is all about after all :)

Happy St. George's Day 🌹
The story of England's patron saint in his battle against the legendary dragon is as iconic as his red and white flag. St George is truly an international saint and England isn't the only country or region to claim him as its patron.

England shares St George with Venice, Genoa, Portugal, Ethiopia and Catalonia among others as their patron saint and many of these places have their own celebrations and ceremonies in his honour.

Today is World Poetry Day 2022 - Poetry is such a beautiful form of expression. No other type of literature creates feelings and emotions like poetry does. Our talented Celebrant team see this first hand whilst creating bespoke ceremonies for their families. Poetry is a great addition to any ceremony and allows others to get involved during proceedings

Our Story

Welcoming a baby into your life is the most overwhelming, amazing, joyful and lets face it, terrifying, experience a person will ever have, but once the dust settles and new parents begin to find their feet, it’s time to CELEBRATE the safe arrival of this new little person!

If you, like over half of the British population, decide that a religious ceremony or traditional christening is not for you, then you might consider a naming ceremony to formally welcome your child into the world. Our team of experienced and professional Celebrants cover the length and breadth of Scotland and have passed disclosure checks, are fully qualified, insured, licensed and are trained to deliver outstanding ceremonies, which are as unique and wonderful as your new little bundle. Your chosen Celebrant will:

  • Arrange a meeting to get to know you and bambino [if he/she has arrived]

  • Assist by advising on how to create the right mood on the day
  • Nearby event planning services
