If you got engaged or already engaged and getting married this year, congratulations, I’m so excited for you!

If you have recently started following me and would like to know a bit about me here goes:
I’m mum to two girls Jasmine & Connie, wife to Chris and we have 2 adopted sister cats Fifi and Anna. I love the beach, prosecco & running 🏃‍♀️ 🏝️ 🥂

We have recently moved house and have taken on a renovation project, more to come on that ☺️.

I’m a wedding florist, running my business from a home studio who loves to incorporate locally grown flowers into your wedding flowers. Not only does it support local small businesses, but brings so much character and charm to my designs from a wiggly stem or slightly nibbled leaf 🌿🐛🌺😆☺️

My passion is creating beautiful arrangements that tell your story, I love to hear about how a particular bloom might evoke a childhood memory, or have a special meaning.

And because I want your wedding day to go perfectly, I offer an end to end floristry service that includes consultations, delivery and set up of flowers and props, applying buttonholes and even staying on the day to move the displays, so that you can make the most of your flowers at every point.

Never not a good idea to have a December wedding! Huge congratulations (and apologies for being a day late ☺️) F&J on 4 years of marriage ❤️
A December marriage means you can embrace those sumptuous rich colours, ranunculus, anemones and those velvet roses are some of my favourites to offer from the blooms available during the winter months. So don’t be afraid to go all out on the rich colours and textures, I mean look at Flora’s cape, simply stunning!

Back in October I was asked by my lovely sister-in-law if I would like to join her with her mum and my niece on a Christmas Photoshoot for
My first thought was, I can’t do that, I’m too self conscious, what if I look silly, so I said thank you but I don’t think I can 😞.
Twenty minutes later after giving myself a talking to, I changed my mind to yes and I’m so glad I did, I mean when would I ever get the opportunity to be dressed in amazing clothes, have my hair and makeup done by professionals and be thoroughly spoilt for the day! Thank you for asking me, it was such a lovely day with you, your mum and of course Ava (who was a perfect model, don’t you think!)

It’s all hands on dec for the changeover also known as the flip, the bit between ceremony and reception where all the suppliers spring into action to transform from ceremony to wedding breakfast. Day 2 of Anjali & Ian’s celebrations we moved quickly to re-invent the Ganesh florals into the top table design. Bud vases were first displayed in the windows to be moved into centre stage with those wonderfully coloured taper candles. The tall frames started off as decoration to the mandap, later moved to the table centres…. you get the picture 😍

Each workshop is 2.5 hours long and costs £65. This price includes all materials including a moss base (the traditional, more sustainable method) and natural decorative materials such as sumptuous foliage, berries, pine cones and scented dried fruits - PLUS all the knowledge and expertise to help keep your beautiful creation fresh throughout the festive season.

The flower arch, why wouldn’t you? This beautiful arch was a pleasure to build for Kirsty & Callum and from what I heard everyone loved it! Such a wonderful welcome as the guests arrive, a focal for the bridal party to walk under and of course after the vows are exchanged that all important ‘just wed’ photo!
We even managed to move this one to the reception, it’s not always possible to move large structures like this but if we can we will 🥰

Floral installations! My advice would always be to go for one statement piece rather than spend your floral budget on lots of smaller arrangements. Floral hoops, are a gorgeous addition to a barn, I just love how they float in the air like a huge halo 😇 ☺️
This one for Abi & John was abundant with spring blooms and greenery, what’s not to love?!

So September has turned out to be Wedding free for me, which is unusual but sometimes the way it goes. I will still fill it with prepping, planning, cleaning and sorting for a couple of corkers in October and the rest of the year.
