We are very excited to welcome back Jen Merchant this Sunday 29th September starting at 6.30pm. Jen specialises vintage styles but will be singing a mix of jazz, swing, soul and pop so don’t forget to book a table.

I’ve got a busy day of gigs tomorrow, for the 80th anniversary of D-Day, with 2 care homes gigs, in Petersfield and then I’ll be singing 7.30pm-8.15pm, at Gostrey Meadows, in Farnham, for their beacon lighting event.

Then Saturday, I’ll be at The Red Lion Southwick 4pm-6pm, for Southwick Revival

Commemorations for the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings will take place throughout the day in Farnham on Thursday 6 June.

The significant occasion will be marked by a day of remembrance, reflection and thanks for the brave soldiers that fought in one of the most pivotal battles of World War II.

From 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm there will be a beacon lighting event at Gostrey Meadow. The programme includes music by a vintage/40s vocalist Jen Merchant, and Farnham Brass Band. Prior to the lighting of the beacon, at 9.15pm, there will be a BBC Radio broadcast, a guard of honour, a performance of Shores of Normandy and the reading of an international tribute by Brigadier Paul Evans OBE DL.

Refreshments will be provided by Farnham Brewing Co and Brightwells Gostrey at the charity tea tent.

Well I very much enjoyed getting sequined up, for a Motown set, at Jan’s retirement party, in Fleet last night! Sadly the lurgie has got the better of me and I’m unable to perform at The Wisley today 😩 the lovely Katie Rogers will be covering for me.
