Farnham Festival started in 1961 and was the brainchild of Alan Fluck, who was the Head of Music at Farnham Boys Grammar School. His passion for music and education led to the creation of an inclusive and accessible music festival that introduced young people to newly commissioned music. It has thrived every other year.
