We cannot believe our favourite weekend of the year is almost upon us already!

Traquair Medieval Fayre is set to be a fun-filled weekend of jousting, battles, falconry and so much more. Step back in time as you enter the Walled Garden into a Medieval village with living history camps and stalls selling historic goods, crafts, and meads.

Enjoy demonstrations from Elite Falconry , Think Circus Medieval Acrobats, and the ever-fabulous jousting from Les Amis Stunt Team

We have lots of delicious food options from the Old Walled Garden Café, BBQ in the garden, hog roast, wood-fired pizzas, haggis box, coffee and cakes, and crepes & ice cream; there is something for all!

Our Fayre Ale, brewed specially for the weekend, will also be available from the beer tent in the garden.

On the road to recovery, and hopefully back out with us at events this summer! Big thank you to everyone at Galedin and especially Amy his VERY patient physio therapist 💕

💗 happy story of the month 💗

This extremely handsome chap was suffering from right hind cruciate disease.
There are currently two main treatments for cruciate disease; these being a surgical procedure or conservative management.

This beautiful boys owners opted for conservative management. This consisted of two weekly visits to our Galashiels branch to receive physiotherapy. physiotherapy session included a variety of massage, EMS, physiotherapy stretches, exercises and of course some tasty doggy liver paste lick.

Thankfully this lucky dogs owners where so dedicated to his recovery and have worked really hard with him daily at home doing his physiotherapy exercises and helping him enormously on his road to recovery. Theo is now weight bearing on all four legs again, back to his happy self and watching out for what squirrels he can chase next.

Well done Theo! You are one amazing dog and we love seeing your little face coming in the door to visit us. Such a special boy
