Our story
Formerly Kelvinside Parish Church, Òran Mór, Gaelic for ‘great melody of life’ or ‘big song’, is a thriving arts & entertainment venue in the heart of Glasgow’s West End.
Our Auditorium is a breathtaking architectural setting for Weddings, Private & Corporate events, dominated by Alasdair Gray’s stunning celestial ceiling mural and further enhanced by stained glass windows, as well as many of the original features of the church.
Inspired by the Zodiac and depicting Birth, Life and Death, as well as various philosophical quotations on the meaning of life, Gray’s mural is one of the largest pieces of public art in Scotland.

Our unique venue offers stunning facilities for a wedding or civil partnership ceremony. The Auditorium and Gallery provide an atmospheric setting for up to 250 guests, while our beautifully appointed Private Dining Room is perfect for more intimate wedding gatherings.
