Everyone had an incredible time at St Cuthbert’s Lodge 630 on Thursday night, despite the warm weather!
We had the honor of raising a brother to the third degree and celebrated the achievements of two brothers who were awarded their Solomon certificates. A truly memorable evening.

Today is International Paramedics day.

At St Cuthbert’s we are probably the safest lodge in the province!

We have several brethren who are paramedics, fire and police officers either serving or retired!

Last night the brethren enjoyed a very interesting lecture on the first degree tracing board from WBro Milner.

Today was the Hull 10k and the Cornerstone Circle, Yorkshire North and East Ridings were out delivering water to thirsty runners!

Our SD also made a fantastic effort in running his first 10k race this year.

Busy few weeks at St Cuthbert’s lodge.
Firstly a fantastic raising, and an installation in Chapter!

Brother Varley conducted himself with fine candour during the raising and the degree team and WM were all superb!

Last night’s Chapter saw the installation of our new MEZ Matt Dalby along with ex comp Tony Clark as J. In attendance was ex comp T Collinson APGPS Prov rep, and ex comp Jimmie Kerr ProvGDC Prov Grand Director of Ceremonies.

Thursday evening at St Cuthbert’s we carried out a third degree ceremony.
Was a busy evening with many visitors from several lodges.

Alcuin Lodge No6300
St Germain Lodge No566
Leopold Lodge No1760
And of course our resident visitor from the St Patrick lodge No295 in the Irish Constitution No295.

The Lodge officers and degree team worked well, it was said on many tables at the festive board that the SD was fantastic, and I for one agree.

FESTIVAL 2029 NEWS
Yesterday evening saw the second of three soft launch events for YNER Festival 29 in York. This was an opportunity for WM’s, Wardens, Almoners and Charity Stewards to learn first hand on how their lodges and chapters can be involved with Festival 29, and perhaps more importantly the support available to them in their endeavours to do so.

At the end of the evening a number of attendees took the opportunity to sign up to continuous giving and happily walked away with their Stewards Jewel, which they will no doubt be showing to their brethren and companions in the near future.

The evening also highlighted the vast array of information, not just about Festival 29, but also the Province in general to be found on the Provincial Website which sadly only around 12% of the members of the Province currently access, something that can easily be addressed, by promotion within Lodges and Chapters.
