We were back in Notting Hill last night cooking for a lovely group of friends. A full menu of fish in the form of oysters, ceviche & tempura and then halibut. Followed by a beautiful platter of fresh fruit & berries. Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of the fresh fruit. The fruit looked great too, you’ll have to take my word for it.

We were back at on Friday. Cooking for a lovely group of ladies enjoying a very civilised hen do. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures of the food or table on this occasion. Yesterday we were back at the catering a lovely intimate wedding for 31. I absolutely love working in this venue and feel very privileged to be invited too. It was great day with beautiful weather. Lots of detail and personal touches from the bride the whole way through. As always thank you to the team
Another busy weekend for us serving delicious food to lovely guests. We had 2 events yesterday, one of which was an 80th birthday at a beautiful property in Pirbright. A massive thank you to the team for smashing it out the park as usual.

We had the pleasure of catering a very civilised hen do on Saturday night, for a friendly group of ladies in Dorking. They started with a few canapés followed by some abundant sharing boards, Cod & butternut ravioli for mains and cheesecake with pear & blackberries for dessert.
Another great event this weekend. Canapés, some delicious bowl food and an abundant cheese display. Thank you for the assistance in choosing the cheeses and the tasting notes. This was the second time we have catered for this client, a lovely group of close friends and family celebrating a special birthday. The team absolutely smashed it always
A few pics of the food from our event last night. A selection of five canapés (forgot to take a pic of the goats cheese one) then straight in to the pork belly main. Dark chocolate fondant with hazelnut ice cream for dessert. They also had some abundant cheese boards filled with a lovely selection of French & English cheeses. Unfortunately I forgot to get a pic of those too 🤦♂️Either way it was very delicious meal.
We had the pleasure of doing our first (hopefully of many) event the stunning in Chiddingfold yesterday. We catered for a special couple celebrating their silver wedding anniversary, with 14 of their closest friends. It was a great evening and the staff smashed it as usual. Another great lunch yesterday for a lovely family celebrating their very intimate wedding ceremony. A menu of canapés, scallops & acorn fed ham to start, aged beef short rib with beef fat potatoes for main, and vanilla panna cotta with blood orange, and pistachio biscotti for dessert.
Our second dinner this week in Lingfield for the same family, who are having a week long stay to celebrate a 40th birthday. They opted for a fish menu this time with cheese and birthday cake for afters. Thank you for providing the beautiful and delicious birthday cake.

This was a lunch we catered on Sunday. It was another 60th birthday celebration for a very lovely family. 3 delicious canapés followed by duck terrine, lamb and baked plums & granola with almond ice cream for pud. Great weekend for Honest cook.

We catered a joint 40th birthday celebration last night in Guildford for a very lovely couple and there closest friends. They dined on the their terrace at there beautiful home with one of the best views of Surrey. I also got to finish the beef fillet on there Kamado bbq.
We had the pleasure of catering a special birthday party in Cobham on Saturday evening. The birthday girl had put a lot of thought and effort into the whole event. There was a bit of pink theme going on and they also had a magician. It’s always such an honour to be part of these special occasions.
A bit of bread development today. This is a pancetta & onion brioche swirl. Pretty happy with the result, super soft and light. I had something similar at Tom aikens restaurant on Elystan street many years ago, it was probably one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. A few pics of a delicious lunch we catered yesterday in Normandy. A small family gathering celebrating a special birthday. Bit of a Middle Eastern vibe with a Mezze sharing board to start. Chicken skewers and lamb kofta’s with some Ottolenghi style salads for main. Eton mess for dessert.
This is a dinner we did for 12 in Guildford a couple of weeks ago. The menu was a nice mix of honest cook favourites. Scallops & Chicken wings, Pork belly & cheek and Lemon tart with wild Strawberry sorbet, amongst many other delicious things.
